I watched my own good looking son, turn into a person who drank, used pills and other drugs, to a swollen, very ill person by 32. He didn't know he had the beginning of liver failure and his continued use made me look more like his sister than mother. We had a Drs appointment the day after he died, at 33. Sometimes the excess weight is fluid retention and compulsive eating between binges. My boy by autopsy showed all the diagnosis post mortem of what alcohol and drugs can do. Breaks my heart that Elvis was made fun of by tabloids and even years later. I'm glad the movie came out and showed how he became dependent on drugs and what it does to someone. Even the excessive sweat my son had. If given 24 hours, maybe I'd still have him. I mourn Lisa Marie because as a mother, you never wrap your mind around your child leaving the Earth before you.
