If I remember correctly the Memphis Mafia Book said that it was Marty and Alan that tried to talk his dad down on the price. They were frustrated when Elvis jumped in and said he wanted to buy it whatever it cost.

Such an amazing video . I love the story that Elvis didn't want to buy the farm. I don t know. If his Dad would have been home Elvis may have went to the door and ask. That s how he got the two big white lions that are still at the front of Graceland today. He knocked and ask if he could by them. Lol. Thank you so much Billy. God Bless.

Awesome. Has the interview was happening I was thinking Jack was really taking it (Elvis) all in at the time. And was wondering what he was into at the time. And right then Billy ask him. That’s whats great about Billy’s interviews. His train of thought at putting the past & present together in a moment and seeing a missing piece and going for it to find it, or something knew. Thanks Billy. Always exited when a new video pops up!

Excellent video Spa Guy, I'm a private pilot so I enjoyed the airplane stories. The Circle G is not what I expected. I did not know that it was so close to the road and so flat. My cousin owns 400 acres in Poplar Bluff Missouri that has 5 miles of dirt roads to get to it, talk about privacy! Ironically he bought that land in 1967 when he was a young man also. I would like to know why Elvis bailed out of it so quick. My cousin is still on his farm to this day.

There was a failed attempt at a semi-Elvis-themed-hotel-resort 30 years ago, that's why the pool and restaurant. Also there was a sign which had been placed on the bridge as sort of a self-guided tour, which gave partially erroneous info on Elvis having built the bridge. But there were other truthful things on same sign, such as Elvis riding Rising Sun across the bridge. Not sure why the investors backed out but going forward, in my opinion, the only way that old ranch comes alive again is for community outreach or even a Libertyland type thing, but not strictly an Elvis place.

It always baffles me how people can look at the dark side of Elvis. Which I have some doubts about. I will get into it more and some theories I have later on more in detail....but for now. I honestly don’t think Dr Nick wrote all those prescriptions for Elvis and have reason to believe many were forged for the entourages use. Let’s be honest the drugs that they are saying Elvis was consuming, would have killed an elephant. Not saying Elvis didn’t use, but I think there was something much more nefarious going on. From the Stanley brothers to Ginger herself. Let’s not forget the era of time this was too. Not to mention if you look at that whole entourage, it was huge! Not counting the band and back-up singers but what about the crew and stage hands. Someone could have made a small fortune on the side, suppling them. But who? What are your thoughts on the story of a undercover agent being among them during this time. Vernon was convinced Elvis was murdered to where Dick Grob I believe did some PI work for Vernon. I think what you’re doing is so amazing. Elvis was so giving of others. I recently read a story or what it here in one of your videos? It’s where the MM would go to the gate and invite only pretty girls up to the house and how Elvis didn’t like that and wanted everyone to have a fair chance regardless of looks. To me that just read class act. Also how when E was young had a ice cream and saw a younger boy who didn’t have one and he shared his. Just learning about the teams he instantly starting sponsoring. Just imagine playing for EP anything! Lol. Man oh man. I don’t this this was a Parker gimmick either, I believe this was all Elvis doing. From the silent charities to his fund raising to his extraordinary gifts. Elvis was a true philanthropist! Not to mention how much he gave in his work ethic and talent. And let’s not forget how Elvis always wanted the first 10/20 rows of a show, just for his fan clubs and not high rollers. Again I think this was Elvis doing. So when they say Parker did his job and Elvis did his. I think Elvis may have did more than we know with Parker’s side of the promotions. Except Elvis didn’t do it for the publicity! Billy I know you’re busy but will contact you soon as I been doing a lot of research. I don’t want any credit I just want to help out. So anything I come across I will let you know. I have to say the crazies conspiracy theory I came across was with something called the ‘Wow Signal’ just google it. Then look at time and date and read about the story. I don’t believe any about it but it could have been and still is a great distraction.... TCB⚡️and you definitely ‘Tightened Up’ on this one! Keep them coming! Ps. Can you try to find proof that Elvis got to see Andy Kaufman’s Elvis impersonation. I heard different things but all are positive. I guess it’s safe to say if he didn’t like it there would have been one more shot TVs. Lol I know Elvis had a great sense of humor and imitation of someone else they usually say is the best form of flattery, especially in a satire setting.

Thomas Tommy Those guys didnt have to "hang" with Elvis just because they worked for him. He had lots of employees, but there were only a very few in his close circle. Truth be known, if Mr. Jack had known and mentioned the guys that came down there's names, we've probably never even heard of them. Elvis's core circle would not have gone behind his back and done that. Some fly by night guy's probably would. I'm sure there was a pretty good turnover rate for people working for "The Buisness".

Kathy Sharpe I don't care. Elvis is no longer living now. I was just saying it's sad they hung onto Elvis like that. And there still making money and getting fame from Elvis yeasr after his passing away. His father should not of had control like he did. But I guess Veron thought he was looking out for Elvis. Even though he didn't always look out for him.
