In June I made my 1st tour of Graceland. A few things that stood out to me are: Elvis was a pack rat. He saved stuff. He had style. He liked solitude. In the end he was isolated, depressed and suffering medically. Tragic end to an American veteran, entertainer and icon. R.I.P. EP

I think EPE and the museum & shops have been made much too expensive for the ordinary fans I just don’t know how it has been possible to pay Priscilla nearly one million pounds a year ( plus the CEO probably the same or more) No wonder it has been necessary to put up the prices. ! !I have been coming to Graceland nearly every year since1984 but this year have decided to only visit Tupelo

Your excellent video really brought back memories. I've been there once, back in the mid-90s. It still looks the same. We took the tour that included his cars, wardrobe, gold records, and the jets. What surprised me was that it's not a museum. It's a living house. Family still visit. Keep up the great work, Jordan!

Hi Jordan, I can just imagine Elvis on his gold telephone. How nice that he kept some of his mother's clothes in his parents room, like she was still there even after she passed. The peacock stained glass windows are beautiful. Well, you took some really great photos on your tour of Gracelands. Great vlog Jordan.

This made me tear up a bit. I was there in 1991 with my best friend Kyle who was a huge Elvis fan. He passed away at the young age of 26 from an epileptic seizure in 1998. This gave me great memories of our trip. They've opened up a lot more of the house from when we went. Glad you had such a great and more private tour! I still have my souvenirs from our trip.

Thank you for this very entertaining vlog. Because of Covid, my wife and I had to cancel our trip to Graceland. It's been 37 years since our last visit. I should post our original tickets. Things were so different back then. No guest house, the fancy new museum was an old strip Plaza, no BLM spray paint damage! The residents were wonderful and took all the fans, treating everyone with kindness and respect.I've been an Elvis fan since the age of 2, I'll be 60 this coming March. I hope this covid virus ends soon, I would love to make a trip back soon. One again, thank you for this wonderful vlog! I hope and pray that you, your family and friends are happy, healthy and safe! May God bless and keep you all safe! Warmest Regards, here from Canada, Dan Doherty

Elvis A. Presley...one of the greatest performers in American history. It's so sad to see his home, and where he lived for the later years of his life. When Jordan was talking about the game room where Elvis spent his final moments before heading to the bathroom, that really got me. Who knew that that room would be the one of the final rooms he was in while he was alive? It sends chills inside me, but I know that Elvis and his family was loved by millions around the world. When he died, it stunned the world. Memorials were created. Elvis will be remembered for being one of the most influential musicians of his time. Rest in Peace, Mr. Presley.

I went to Graceland just a few months after it first opened and they opened the gates when the van was ready to come through. It was a regular van that pulled up to the gates. I was 15. I'll never forget sitting there at the gates for about a minute and then the thrill of seeing them open before me! Elvis' cars were still parked out back.
@TraceyKHouston4 жыл бұрын
Yes! Back in 1988 when I toured Graceland for the first time, several of his cars were parked in the back under the carport. I took pictures of them parked there. You could walk right up to them. At that time, the racquetball court was just that, it wasn't filled with displays of his jumpsuits, gold/platinum records and trophies, as it was in later years for many years. Only with the completion of the new Complex across the street did they finally move everything out of the racquetball court area and put it back to how it looked when Elvis lived there. That first visit in 1988 they had young kids as tour guides, who spoke way too fast and with southern accents, so it was difficult to understand them, with me being from Western Canada. They also moved too quickly through the tour, not really giving me a chance to leisurely browse and read everything I wanted to. And then when I did stick around to read some signs on the displays, I was left behind. When I caught up to the rest of the group, I had missed a good chunk of the what the young tour guide was saying. It was a turn off for me back then because the tour felt rushed. After moving to Nashville in 1995, a few years later I finally visited again with a friend from Canada. I was very pleased then to discover they had the self-guided audio tour instead, and one could go through at their own pace. I've visited several times through the years now and enjoy seeing the different exhibits they change regularly. The most recent tour in late 2017, I toured the house with my sister visiting from Canada for the first time. We really enjoyed the iPad tour with John Stamos narrating.
