I have recently bought Joe's book and read it completely in 48 hours. It is one of the best most beautifully honest book about Elvis I have read, and i have read nearly 100 books about him.

I noticed that Joe M. had Prissy write the Foreward to his book. Interestingly, in approx. 5/78, after the death of EP, Prissy was already contemplating how she was going to MONETARILY CAPITALIZE off of his name; his hard work and accomplishments. According to JOE MOSCHEO, who was a friend and former member of the IMPERIALS and, who was ADVISING Prissy at that time said, that they met for two-weeks and the idea of "EXPLOTING HER MEMOIRS" and a TELEVISION INTERVIEW with someone like Barbara Walters, came out of that discussion (paraphrased). Her 1985 UNVERIFIED tell-all book, "Elvis & Me" was planned since 1978. Unfortunately, no grass grew under her feet and Joe M. was right there to help her. I guess Joe M. can be as "positive" as he wants, while Prissy is still "throwing EP under the bus." As you know, Prissy always claimed that she wanted to get out from underneath the "SHADOW" of EP, butJoe M. confirmed just the opposite saying that he NEVER got the impression that she wanted to distance herself from him. That was further confirmed when she took back her EX-husbands name and has been "monetarily capitalizing" off of him ever since.
