Elvis’ favourite flower was a red rose, & Vernon (his father) placed red roses on top of his casket when Elvis died. This is such a beautiful song & Elvis sang it to perfection.

Elvis sang everything well.He was mesmerizing.If you want to see how magnificent his eyes are, watch Change of Habit, his last movie.There are many great closeups of his eyes.His eye color is unique, nether green or blue.The expression from them is sweet and seductive.His lashes take long sweeps across his eyes.I have never seen such unique and gorgeous eyes.Of course, even Elvis'hands and legs are gorgeous along with the rest of him.

He sings this so smoothly. This was his first version. Mid ‘60’s, maybe? Anyway, he did a more soulful version in 1970, during the Nashville Marathon. Absolutely amazing.

This is the 1960s version. You must compare against the 1971 version which is more soulful
