@@carolhayar3037 The interesting thing is that no black artist ever said this nonsense (not even during Elvis' lifetime). The fact is that there are many, many beautiful statements from black people (from all walks of life) who have only said good things about Elvis Presley. Elvis also had a lot of friends and fans from the black population.

"I Got a Feelin' In My Body" is a song from Elvis' 1974 Good Times Album. Micheal started his solo career in 1971, but was still part of the Jackson 5 who started in 1967. Micheal announced in 1984 that he was leaving the group and that is the Micheal everyone knows today. So, NO, Elvis was not inspired by Micheal Jackson it is the other way around. There is ELVIS and then there is everyone else.

The song was I got a Feeling in my Body. He sang it yrs ago and they also played it in the Elvis movie. There’s also a step Elvis does in a movie in which he’s singing Return to Sender and he literally picks his leg up and as he turns lifts the leg with his turn. I later saw MJ do the exact same move. It’s nice to be inspired by an icon and then you become so famous too. Elvis would have thought it was cool. He had been so inspired by so many people in his own life. Thanks for sharing this. Have a great day. I wonder more what Elvis would have thought of Lisa Marie marrying MJ for awhile. 😊😊

Graceland vs Neverland. Without Elvis, you would not see a Graceful performer. With Neverland you see a troubled performer molded into a pop idol, that Never seemed to grow up. He played with boys way too young. Elvis was a generous man that loved God and would minister through his gospel songs that he grew up with. There was friction between MJ and his controlling father. Elvis loved his parents unequaled. I will leave accomplishments to you and your subscribers. Elvis was and is the king!

Michael Jackson was 19yrs old when Elvis pasted away in 1977. How could Elvis copy Michael when Michael really hadn't started by himself then (he was in Jackson five for many years before going alone).... Elvis had the moves, the voice, charisma, everything....Elvis was God's gift on loan to us for too short a time....may he always be remembered for his talent and voice...RIP Elvis

Elvis did not the typical moonwalk, but he did a kind of sidemoonwalk in his live concerts. For all MJ fans it should be said: MJ copied the moonwalk from earlier artists of the late 40's/early 50's! Look at youtube at "moonwalk origins"!

Elvis did a few very quick, fast backward foot movements on his song "One Night" & i wonder if Jackson saw it & got a bit of inspiration from just that little bit of El; maybe you'll take a look? You should see it anyway -- he was fantabulous!! And the quality is amazing -- kzbin.info/www/bejne/paSch4CHlr2fo7M; thx James. (I just saw this guy's comment below re: no similarities -- why are people still on this kick that Elvis "stole" -- don't they know it's called "cover" & everyone did it & does it -- even the biggest of the big artists.)
