@@kleenoffbleach1554 And black people sang songs written from white people. Did they stole the music? Bullshit!!! I tell you what Elvis did. He spend millions of dollars for the black community , especially for the children.For free medical treatmemt in his hometown Memphis. He buys a house for his cook, near his home , she lived in it ,till the day she died. He was the first artist who had black background singers. Sometimes they asked him to leave the 'black girls' at home. His answer: No girls. No Elvis. And he said : if someone attacks my girls , he attacks me! So don't tell me about stealing music or something like that. If he stole something, how can it be that black artists like Chuck Berry,, James Brown or Little Richard , B.B King are close friend to him and they say without Elvis we wouldn't all be here And if Muhammed Ali would be still alive,, you would be on the floor, long before you could finish this bullshit you are talking about.

Sorry, but Elvis didn't steal anyone's songs, yes he mixed covers in with his own songs in shows, and in his own brilliant style with his amazing voice made every song he sang his own because he was so great! the reason why walter isnt known or any great black artists of that time is because they weren't allowed to go mainstream by white DJs, promoters, broadcasters, and club owners. Elvis grew up with black people and learned his music and style from black people. He took their music and brought it to the mainstream because he was white. Thats history.

@MrSenneboy ... Are you fucking kiddin' me? From Wikipedia ""My Babe" is a blues song and a blues standard written by Willie Dixon for Little Walter. Released in 1955 on Checker Records, a subsidiary of Chess Records, the song was the only Dixon composition ever to become a #1 R&B single and it was one of the biggest hits of either of their careers."

+Majik0715 Black rhythm & blues was not rock n roll. Rock n roll is a fusion of both black and white musical genres. Rocket 88 is rhythm and blues - an influence on rock n roll but isn't rock n roll om its own. And no, I don't give a a shit whether you agree with me or not. Anyway, who gives a fuck. Music doesn't have a colour. I wonder what people like you would say if I commented on videos of black performers of classical music and started blabbing about it being invented by white composers. Well at least you got the part about him being the king of rock n roll right.

Are u insane!? Elvis did it better then Little Walter? Elvis couldnt touch the masterfulness of Little walter and other Race music at the time. Nor did he have the inteligence to write great music. Elvis was a thief-Period. Learn your history. (American history)
@ikewp9013 жыл бұрын
It is you who should go and learn your history! Little Walter does a great original of the song written by Willie Dixon, but Elvis also does a great, raw live version, and he has every bit the feel for the music. Elvis grew up with Blues, Gospel, and Country music and they are all part of who he is. He didn't steal anything! As for writing songs, Elvis grew up in an era where songwriting and singing/performing were separate crafts, there were many great songwriters who did not sing, they wrote great songs for the great artists who did not write: Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Ella Fitzgerald, Etta James, Sammy Davis Jr, Roy Hamilton, Bobby'Blue' Bland, Diana Ross, Jackie Wilson. Elvis had many songs written specifically for him by great songwriters (black and white) and he also covered some great blues and country songs, turning them into brilliant uptempo rock and roll songs, just as Ray Charles was infusing old country songs with soul. The great Bluesman B.B King was there back in the 50s and knows the facts concerning BS stealing accusations by ignorant people who don't know what they are talking about: link cleverjourneys.com/2020/06/17/b-b-king-others-knew-and-defended-elvis-presley-against-all-racist-assertions/
