I learn something New Bern everyday. Elvis TCB everywhere he went. Like Elvis' song, You are pretty much the only one Spa Guy to "walk a mile in his shoes" by going everywhere he has been. Before yall "abuse, criticize and accuse" the Spa Guy has the vlogs to prove it. Thanks Billy and Bill!!!

That is very cool episode, not only because of Elvis history, but because of the Shriners building 😀 their work with crippled children's hospital is the reason I can walk today!! They paid all of my medical bills for my leg operations, God bless them

Elvis is my favorite! Last year my mom and I stayed at The Guest House. We visited Graceland and all the Elvis museums. Also we drove to Tupelo and saw Elvis's birthplace and church!!! It was surreal to walk in Graceland!!!! I will remember it forever!!!!!!! I'm a Pepsi drinker too! It's my favorite soda! And everytime I drink Pepsi, I think of Elvis! Also we visited the hardware store where Gladys purchased Elvis's first guitar!

This was an amazing, interesting video for all Elvis fans! I am from Williamston NC and born in 1951. I have been an Elvis fan since I was 5 years old. I NEVER heard of Elvis being in Kinston and New Bern. I want to have Ronnie McDowell see this video. He is an outstanding talent that loves Elvis like I do. Just in case you don’t know Ronnie McDowell, he lives in Hendersonville, Tenn. He has more talent than you could possibly imagine. He also is all about Elvis history! You might really enjoy making the short trip to see Ronnie, his art work, his music and his lovely personality! We helped Ronnie get started in 1977 in Eastern NC. Ronnie also played in New Bern. Jordan Foss booked the shows. I would love to hear that you have had the opportunity to meet Ronnie and be entertained by his stories and his life. Thanks for what you do in keeping the history of Elvis alive! ❤️ Linda O Jernigan

What a splendid town. Ok Elvis jazzed it up alot but was over giddy about the home of Pepsi. Hmmm Daddy and Mama drank nothing but Pepsi. Daddy almost looked to Elvis as a father figure he didn't have. A hero of sorts. Wonder if that's why he gravitated toward Pepsi lol.cause if Elvis drank it , it must be cool. I loved old architecture. I do hope they reopen the building but in today's world very doubtful. Funny how Elvis was put toward the middle or end of the advertisements. Colonel Parker is not my favorite kinda fella but boy did he know how to work a situation. Thank you for such an amazing and fun time Billy!

It's 10:25AM Tuesday here in Brisbane, Australia and we're in a mad rush to get everything done & dusted here at work. I've just sat down to enjoy a quiet cup of coffee and to watch your video out in the clouded sunshine which is good as I can see the screen better lol. I can't thank you enough for all the joy you've provided throughout the year. There were so many moments during your narration just in this video alone that brought a lump to my throat. I especially love seeing the then and now comparison pictures, and seeing inside the venues that Elvis, Bill & Scotty performed at back in the early days. So, many thanks for all you do behind the scenes - all the research, phone calls, driving long distances & in traffic, adverse weather, leaf-blowing interruptions during filming, hours of editing and uploading and all the other things that I am not even aware of, so that I can sit here and chill for a while. Well, back to work for me. Cheers Billy.! Merry Christmas to you and yours. ~~Peace~~ -Deb.

Impressive once again to see these old Buildings still standing. Big complaint here in Canada is how we tend to demolish old structures fairly quickly and many complain about it. Spa Guy, it is very interesting to see where Elvis performed (glad the building is still standing, historical places in Nashville torn down), the hotel he stayed in (beautiful), and where he ate (love to eat in a restaurant like that, wonder where Elvis sat). Oh, if Elvis lived longer to tell about his early touring days and later on too. What an interesting, unique man and performer, it will not be another one. Great information SG .The Shriner building is still solid looking. Sadly a matter of time and it will end up being leveled? I don't quite understand why the Shriners have these big of buildings? Still working on the WayBak machine here . Gotta get it operational and dial back to these dates! As you said that had to be a blast for Bill ,Scotty and Elvis at this time bouncing from town to town like Gypsies. It boils down to,,,they were living a LOT ,versus sitting on the porch rockin,,and letting the world go by. One thing I never heard Elvis say in any interviews was that doing a schedule like he did 'was a drag",,or "a grind" like so may rock & rollers after a period of time. Thanks again.
