He was from another planet. When people say there will never be another, this is what that means. It's literally impossible for another man to be in the same stratosphere as Elvis. This is how he should be remembered. Him at his peak.
@el34glo593 жыл бұрын
@@-jacinta- Right at this moment he should have gotten another manager to continue these types of concerts. And he got in such dam good shape for this. Ashame he couldn't keep it up. Maybe with different management he does

coming out of London England, you made a mistake in saying tom Parker played a part in elvis career, first he wasn't a graded soldier, second he drew up a contract with the king that let him rinse him for all he could take, also tried to stop him singing, if I can dream on his 68 come back tour, scared that the political nature of the song would tarnish the Kings career, turns out the song was one of the best live performance of all time, dont want to rain on your parade my son but get your facts in order.

When Elvis sang the line "It's been too lonely too long" I think he was expressing his liberation from what was and what could be. He was trapped into those movies and was yearning to break free and to do concerts again like the old days. Of course, he had to make one last film -- "Change Of Habit."

What rubbish are you talking... The song "One Night" is an old song, not a new one. Can't you accept that not all songs have a secret, hidden, meaning. You're reading your own feelings into it and passing them off as what Elvis was feeling... just because you think your interpretation is so great.

Daniele, when he sang certain lines from old songs such as this --finally before a live audience --he felt a release as if he had been caged for nearly a decade. Anyone with discernment could tell how he was feeling and what he was expressing.

Elvis would have loved to have you accompany him on guitar! However, he would have preferred that you played all the way through until the end! But, who could blame you for stopping? After all, when Elvis sings ,one can't help but drop everything & become totally absorbed in his performance! Being a member of Elvis' audience was (& still is) pure bliss! This song & "Such a Night" are at the top of my list of favorites!( there are so many of them!) You ought to check.out his vintage versions of these songs ! They were great! However, I do believe that the '68 Comeback Special version is the best because, here, we get to see the pure, raw Elvis whose soulful rendition ,sense of humor & loving & playful spirit are on full display & ,if possible, we love him even more for it! Thanks again for your awesome reaction!
