Question: Ed, I need to know about 1 more song, if Elvis ever did it live, I promise this is the last time I ask about a song being performed live, the song I'm speaking of is "Guitar Man". Really tricky lyrics and lead guitar, I can understand why he would not do it live but I dont know if he did or not. I'm still baffled about "If I Can Dream". Thank You for your help!!!!

I think it's good to not show everything, just display it , that way you are doing something different than everybody else. I am very glad that you finally received this Ed . You are still so cool. Ed can you believe today it's been 47 years since Elvis died. It still hits me hard.

I thought about buying it, although I love the clarity of Elvis voice - the instrument mix in most tracks just seems wrong to my ears. I may well be wrong though, I much prefer Elvis, Nashville sessions mix.

I bought two Mobil Fidelity Sound Lab 1/2 Speed Master UHQR special pressings of Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hears Club Band for 50 bucks apiece back in 1982, that was the retail price and there were only 2000 pressings made. $50.00 was a lot of money in 1982! I bought one LP to actually play and enjoy and one to keep as an investment for an investment! Well, a few years ago I got into a little bit of a financial bind and actually had to auction my second album of Sgt. Peppers UHQR on eBay. Well, it sold just a little over $5050.00. Not bad for a $50.00 investment! So I understand your reluctance to open your Translucent Ruby Vinyl Elvis Memphis Album. ((:

I guess I suck too, LOL. I'm leaving mine sealed for the moment as well. As far as the recording goes, after having listened to the CDs I have to say I really like it a lot. I even like a lot of the things others don't. Perfect? No, but it's not intended to be perfect, it's to showcase his vocals and I'm getting things I've never heard before. It's nice to have something different, the originals, in all their various forms are still out there to listen to, so there's nothing lost with what they did here. IMHO 😀
