I own a 1956 MKII C2436. It seems like fiction but it came to Brazil OK in 1956. Legend has it that it was white and was painted blue in the USA before shipping to Brazil, as another MKII had recently arrived in the country owned by the company Matarazzo and it was white. . The owner of C2436 didn't like having one of the most exclusive cars in the world where there were only two in Brazil and they were white. PS: translating into English by my friend Google

I‘m confused… She‘s providing so much information but screws up on the fact that it‘s not a Lincoln! Ford tried to establish Continental as a separate brand but scrapped that idea after the Mark II & just 2 years of production. The logo and Continental naming got integrated under Lincoln later though…
