Las Vegas is said to have many haunted spots, from deaths at the Hoover Dam to mobster murders. But the Westgate hotel is reportedly haunted by a spirit who has not left the building - Elvis Presley. 13 Action News Anchor Jackie Kostek takes a look inside.

Worked at the Westgate for two months and each time i was in the stores closing, I'd felt being watched and heard a voice near his old dressing rooms. When I told my supervisor, she smiled, laughed and says "Oh, that's just Elvis making sure everything's going good." I had chills

Truth T, we are like-minded folks on this. I still to this day get a lump in my throat when I am reminded of his generosity to complete strangers especially when it involves him removing a piece of his jewelry and giving it to an admirer. Of course when he gifts a brand new Cadillac surprising a person who helped him with something trivial. Maybe I'm uninformed but I don't know of any celebrity that has done or does or shows that kind of Love to that extent towards others.

Theory, but maybe he feels like he can't leave? Like a residual haunt. After all he performed so long in Vegas he rarely had breaks or time to himself. His manager worked him so hard he was sick. I stayed there for a week once back in the early/mid 2000’s for a trade show. There was an old woman I think in her 80’s/90’s at the time that worked in the gift shop and said she had worked there since Elvis played there. She quickly developed a “crush” on my husband and swore he was Ricky Schroeder. He even showed her his ID and she grabbed his hand, leaned in closer and whispered that’s ok Ricky, none of the big stars use their real names, patted his hand and winked at him. Every day we’d go in for a snack before the trade show and she’d wink at him and tell us another story. One of her stories was that Elvis’ ghost was there wandering around, she’d seen it and so had several over employees and guests. At first we took it as another one of her cute stories, but the way she told it was different than her other stories, her tone was different, her eyes got glossy and she had gotten goose bumps telling it. I believe that story was the true. I wish I had gotten her name and a picture with her. She was the sweetest ladies we’d ever met!
