Elvis Presley's Guest House At Graceland Walkthrough, Memphis Tn

We filmed this in August but just never brought it out. This is a complete tour of the Guesthouse at Graceland. This was designed by Priscilla Presley and others to give you the feel of Elvis. This hotel is very nice but sometimes the price is way outta hand. So you decide by watching this if it is right for you. Also something I forgot to say is the parking is 10 a day added to your bill.

Yay! Great video. One thing I loved about the Guest House was the pillows. Aaah! They were luscious! I agree with Bobbie, more Elvis photos! I wish the photos of "Elvis" were in fact, Elvis. I want to see his face! I do like the pictures of his jumpsuits hanging all around, just would rather see him inside the jumpsuit. 😁

Hi from England Thanks for the "tour" round The Guesthouse. I cannot fault EPE for building the Guesthouse At Graceland. I think perhaps its long overdue. I know ELVIS fans like myself would love to stay there. Its been designed well and its not GAUDY but tastefully decorated with AN ODE TO ELVIS.. The MOVIE Theatre is AWESOME. I bet ELVIS would love to have spent the wee small hours there with everyone like he used to BUT IS LOOKING DOWN ON US ALL laughing and he would be proud of this area. The prices show for food are less than in similar Hotels in England. I hope to come to Memphis next year and to stay in the Guesthouse. 😊😊😊😊😊❤❤❤👍👍👍👍🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹

Hope you get to Joanne. It's a very nice hotel and they show Elvis movies at night in the theater. It's pretty expensive that's the negative. The pool is nice and they play Elvis music out there and also shuttle you to the Graceland exhibits. You will enjoy it though. Stay safe and maybe we will see you here someday. @@jbinthehills My wonderful mother died June 2019 aged 93 She had suffered with the aggressive form of dementia and she had been diagnosed in 2015 with cancer and had to go into nursing care from February 2016 until she died. I had not had a holiday in 4 years so booked a holiday to Italy for March 2020 and then covid messed up the world. From March 2020 to September 2021 I had 5 holidays cancelled, some abroad and ended up just going on holiday to the South Coast of England in September I have put my name down on a Strictly Elvis UK Tour next year from mid April for around 3 weeks the second half fly to Hawaii I know it will be expensive as the cost of living is rising Life is too short so this will be a holiday of a lifetime for me It’s something to look forward to ❤️❤️🙏🙏🇬🇧🇬🇧👌🏻👌🏻😊😊😀😀🤩🤩

No didn't show this video. What you saw was us walking through the lobby going to the restaurant the EP grill that is located in here. It's very high Jeff can exceed 400 a night with taxes at times. It's very pretty and convenient staying here while visiting Graceland though. We have a couple videos from this time we are going to bring out in a few days for the Elvis fans. We filmed so much during Elvis week and never used it so we decided to take it off of phone and make videos of it. As always we appreciate you watching. I've stayed there a couple of times. I was there at the grand opening too. I love The Guesthouse and all it has to offer. EP's restaurant is good. The bar inside the lobby is fun. The movie theater they play Elvis movies is awesome! The rooms are nice. A fun fact....the reason you never see a full face of Elvis in any of the pictures inside the Guesthouse or rooms and only from the neck down, etc....is because they would've had to pay more to have a bunch of actual pictures of Elvis himself and on top of the cost of the hotel, they opted out and just went for cars or jumpsuits and legs of his. Ugh....so sad huh and dumb. The hotel is about him for Pete's Sake!! LoL 🤣 anyway.... I'll be there again in August for Elvis Week and would love to meet you two! TCB⚡❤️

That's nice you went to the Grand Opening. We liked the HeartBreak Hotel better more retro and ALOT cheaper. They needed to use less money on something and used his image more. It still is a very nice place to go though. 😎😎

Hey Y'all, My dad said he thought dairy products, specifically lots of cheese caused him a massive kidney stone. Might be worth noting if you're increasing the amount of dairy when you're travelling. I eat loads of cheese and have never gotten one, but everyone is different. Be healthy, be well! I love y'all's channel sooo much!

I really wish this wouldn't have been all booked for Elvis week 2022. I am very nervous about where I wound up finding a room. Travelodge on Brooks road. I don't need my car broken into nor sleep with roaches so what I once was looking forward to I now fear. Cannot get a refund either I would lose money if I canceled. I would gladly have paid more for peace of mind. Vicki

First time I have seen this place Sold Out this early for years. The rooms are over 400 a night this week but it is safe. We didn't want to pay that price last year so we stayed in Germantown. Very safe area but far away. It's around a 25 min drive but hotel was beautiful and 120 dollars. The Hoilday Inn on EP Blvd also nice but sold out. Those are the only two I would stay at in the area. Brooks Road is where I stayed in the 80's and it was safe then. Today I'm with you not so safe. Travelodge I think though is always a Elvis fan favorite as is the Days Inn by Graceland but they have let those get bad. Bobbie and I stayed at the Days Inn years ago but no way today. Any way I can help you figure out where to stay if you move let's us know. We did stay at the Guesthouse for 2 nights on August 16 and 17 last year after Germantown for 4 days and the birthday this year when it was cheaper. 😎😎

@@jbinthehills The Hotels wouldn't take reservations when I decided I was going but the online booking sites can. Very unfair. They can fill all the spots by the time the Hotels start taking reservations for Elvis week. I didn't realize I was actually on a booking site, they make it appear you are on the Hotel site. By the time I realized I could use a site for a better Hotel it was too late. This one would keep almost all my money. I wanted to be close to Graceland, I am going alone and don't really want to drive alot.8 hours to Memphis from Wisconsin. Hopefully they will clean it up and increase security for the event. I thought it would be okay because it was one Spa Guy mentioned but most people are now telling me it's bad. Thanks for your kind reply. Vicki

He had the kidney stones about 7 days. We went to the Memphis hospital I was not allowed to go inside so Ihad to sit in the car for about 5 hours. But we had a good time. Thanks for watching 😎 😎

Graceland and the Guest House are where the thievery begins. We went there this weekend to visit Lisa Marie’s grave. We got there for a two-day stay package and we’re charged $900 for two nights and the cheapest tickets. My boyfriend is a retired fire captain who booked and was supposed to get the heroes discount. They charge led him double! I had to fight with them for two days. It was terrible. The ventilation in the bus we were in to the mansion was full of debris. The Guest House is a 2 star at best. The staff hates Elvis and his fans. The Elvis experience at the hotel is almost nonexistent. They have his music turned way down and other random crap on the TVs. One Elvis cutout in the corner of the bar. Unbelievable. Last time. Let poor Elvis rest… he wouldn’t be happy.

I wish they had some pictures of Elvis in the rooms. It is very expensive to stay at the GuestHouse. When we got married eight years ago, we stayed at the Heartbreak Hotel. The rooms had pictures of Elvis everywhere. It cost a lot less too. Sorry you had a bad experience. 😎😎

We did enjoy the Elvis movies. The rooms were selling for $184 on Expedia and he was charged $389. Buyer beware!
