Elvis never recorded this beautiful song but P.J. Proby did it on his L.P. released in early 1965. P.J. is an amazing singer and Tom is also excellent . Unknown Tom saw P.J. in 1964 becoming a giant star so he started to dress and sing like P.J. and a year later T.J. was an equally big singing star as P.J. There are many wonderful singers but for me the most special is P.J.Proby.....a Texan who lives in & loves England.

Could see the pattern of his white lace shirt! I was in awe, completely starstruck. The ladies were going crazy . Yep, we reacted! What is there not to LOVE and admire? Like I said.. the man is blessed! But to each his own...

Probably because at that time he was contracted to do the films and soundtracks he didn't really want to do. Many years of Elvis life were wasted by doing pointless but money making films after Blue Hawaii and not being able to tour Europe. If a European tour could have happened without the Colonel as he was an illegal immigrant then Elvis might possibly and probably lived beyond 1977?
