Funny, priceless story: my favorite "tall tale" of my dads has to do with the song. When I was a kid my dad said he met Elvis and asked him to somehow dedicate this song to my mom to impress her when they first started dating lol. Our last name is Pelotto but, the "e" and the last "o" are pronounced as an"a". So, it really sounds like the background singers are saying are name, "Pa-pa-lotta, pa-pa-lotta" And, of course, after I came along the song was meant for ME, TOO. We always danced to this and he told me so, very, very many times I could put a chain around his neck and take him anywhere I wanted lol 😍 I'm currently 34 now. Unfortunately my mom passed away in 2001, my dad passed away in 2003. I cannot listen to this song without shedding a few "happy tears" so, thank you very much for stirring up these wonderful memories for me by posting this!!!! 😍😍😍

I really enjoy your reactions to Elvis Presley songs. And you are right on spot when you say you get two things with him. You either cry or dance. And the two are always entertaining. And just like me and millions of others on this planet, when you're listening to him you can't help but just move whether it's moving your shoulders moving your hips moving your legs moving your foot tapping your foot. It don't matter you're moved in some way shape or form. Keep those Elvis Presley reactions coming cuz you really do a good job of it.

Soon after this song became public, Elvis received thousands of Teddy Bears from fans over the country and probably the world, once girls learned of his talent. The movie was “Loving You”. He is enjoys entertaining and loves singing and he is a very spiritual and genuine person, no matter how many fans would try tearing clothes off or cut a chunk of his hair. He loved his fans always.

When this song came out I was 6 years old and my sisters were 16 & 18. They traveled to a nearby city to see Elvis in concert & wouldn't take me with them. I was so upset. My mother asked them, after they came home, if he was as "nasty" in person as he was on TV. They replied, quite breathlessly, "oh yes, he was". Great memories from my childhood.

He Paid for this place to be built, With booths and little juke boxes on every table. Coolest thing I ever seen, Elvis paintings throughout the whole place. He was a beautiful person, with such a beautiful Soul. He met Pricilla there, she was in High School at the time. I know you really appreciate music, you validate that every Elvis song you do. This is a big hit for Elvis from the 1950's. A great song scene from his second movie. Great reaction by you and you are right, Elvis had a great sense of humor. Elvis is also the most original singer and most influential artist of all time. No other entertainer is as exciting as Elvis on the big screen. If you want to see a great dramatic performance by Elvis, then you should watch his movie ' Roustabout ' in 1964. I read in an article spoken by Elvis himself who said '' Best picture I ever made ''. This movie is Elvis in his prime and at his best, in my opinion.

You caught it! Yes, Elvis' onstage sense of humor often was "insider stuff" - just to his band & to the Jordanaires...he'd roll his eyes or make some facial gesture for his buddies, because he could never get over the fuss the public was making over him. He thought it was funny that just shaking his leg could send women into convulsions, etc.
