Even though Elvis past away nearly 46yrs ago. We still all go crazy over him . Elvis changed the world off music. He had everything. All the lady’s wanted to be with him .All the men wanted to be him . He’s the greatest entertainer and singer that ever walked on this earth 🌍. I should know I’ve been an Elvis fan for 65yrs thanks to my older sisters. You are not reacting to the greatest man ever . Elvis’s Gospel music is just so Beautiful. He was a very religious man and he grew up in the Ghetto. He never forgot were he came from. Great Reaction 💞💞love from Denise in Yorkshire England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🕺🏻🕺🏻🕺🏻🕺🏻👑👑👑👑👑🤴🤴👌👍

Elvis had been dead for 30 years when you were born. But he will never be forgotten, he had 2 No 1 albums in 2015 and 2016 and is one of Spotify’s most down loaded artists! In his 42 years on this planet, he recorded over 700 songs of mixed genres, with gospel his personal favourite. He made 31 movies and 2 documentaries, so you have so much to discover. To learn about the man, do look at “ Elvis and the black community, parts 1&2” and “Elvis of the generous heart” to squash any negative views you may have heard over the years. Some reactors have been so amazed by Elvis’s history and impact they have really helped to keep him relevant today with new generations of followers. Enjoy your journey and I look forward to more Elvis on your channel👌🕺💕

Yes, Elvis was adored! 🤣😃😍 They did not show his "below the waist" movements during most of this video. 😎 Another reason for the screams was his hip action, combined with this new sound, great voice and smoldering good looks. Elvis brought Rock n Roll to mainstream America!

46 years after his death, people are still calling Elvis the King of Rock'n'Roll, but he didn't like that title, he believed that the only king was God and he actually told this to his fans several times, he said: I believe that God is the only true king. I think that Elvis is and only the king of Rock'n roll, he is the king of music because he can sing very well in any genre, but what do you think, is he good enough to be called a music king? Elvis was really in my mind, the King of GOSPEL and other music, no one does it better then him, he is best known for making Rockn roll famous, so he was called The King of Rockn roll, but he never liked that people called him that. He repeatedly stopped fans who said that he was the king of rock'n roll, telling them: I'm just an entertainer and singer, God is the only true King!! Elvis was born in the poor parts of Tupelo Missisippi and it was mainly Afroamericans living there, at the place where Elvis family lived there only lived 3 more white familys, the rest was colored people, his family was dirtpoor until he became an artist after singing in a mainly colored peoples church during his childhood. Did you know that he had several friends that where Afroamericans, one of his friends where James Brown, yes THAT James Brown (The King of Soul), another artist was B.B King, yes that B.B King... He also was a good friend with Mohamed Ali, yes the GREATEST boxer of all time, he even had a Robe made for him, but it was to much bling on it so Ali wouldn't where it more then one time to a fight. He really admired Martin Luther King very much, Elvis felt that all people are equal, unfortually he never got to meet him, that would have created to much problems for both of them at that time. He had several medical problems, Glaucoma, sleeping, irritable bowel syndrome, things that affected his real life and made him need medication to function. Yes, he took medicines that today are considered to be called drugs, but at that time doctors prescribed it to him and to ordinary people, they did not know of the problems it could give people (side effects). He never took any so-called street drugs, but unfortunately he did not realize that those medications would be a problem for him, he thought that they where ordinary medicine because his doctor prescribed them to him and to everyone else that needed it. Many of his relativs died at a relatively young age, so even if he wouldn't have the medication, he might have died at about the same age. He could never be alone and thus himself, at that time the word superstar did not exist, so nothing could prepare him for that kind of life. Did you know that a big group of white poeple actually smashed his records and wanted to ban his music, just because they called it so called N... music, that is so painfun to think that some people actually can think like that, skincolor is just color and nothing more, when will people realise that? There are some videos of when Elvis joking and messing up, he loved to joke around and pretend that he did not have control, but he had total control, he acctually conducted his musicans and back up choirs all the time ! He is the only person to have 2 records gone to sell Gold and 2 to to sell Platinum since he died. Elvis is also in almost every genre of Music Hall of Fame (5 that I'm sure of Rock 'n' Roll, Country, Gospel, Rockabilly and Rhythm and Blues), if Gospel is a genre in Music Hall of fame, then he should be in there to, but no one else is in more then perhaps 2 genres. Not bad for someone who never took a single singing lesson, yes he sang in church so perhaps he learned a little there, right? Something else that people tend to overlook: He always conducts his musicans and backup singers, he never gets credit for being able to do that. Imagen you are a singer, you have great musicans, you have great backup singers, no Guest Artists, no Autotune, no Lipsinging and no Fireworks, now all is about your skill, could you handle that pressure? At the time when Elvis started, then Autotune did not exist yet and when it became availible, then he still did not use it, he did not need to, he always sang so that you could hear every word that he sang, the Fans always felt that he sang to just you ! That is what Elvis did in over 1600 concerts (during his 20 years as an artist), despite having problems with his health, like his Glaucoma, the headlights must have hurt his eyes like crazy. He sang over 800 songs, I wonder how he could remember them all, he never vrote a song himself, so he had to remember other peoples lyrics, well that is amazing in it self. By the way he had Glucomea and that must have been difficult being in the headlights all the time, that could be why he sometimes closes his eyes, but also sometimes squinting ! This unfortually made him temporary blind after the shows, that is why they led him of the stage and into his car, that is something that not many people knew about Elvis. Elvis suits was made of 100% Polyester, or 100 cotton (I'm not sure witch one), it was originally a karate suit, it was very light, but it was hot, so it made him sweat a lot, he got some bad press about that, but if you give it all then you will sweat, it should be positive, right? About the deep basevoice JD Sumner (a member of The Stamps Quartet) he is the Basso Profundo, I think it's called that, it is the deepest base singer there is. A video about him helping others, look at this: kzbin.info/www/bejne/eaOtYpZvqdJgeZI Elvis made a show where all the money went to build the Memorial after Pearl Harbour, he talked to the nations about taking the Poliovaccin, Elvis took the first injection himself, he helped by donating a big amount of money to St Jude hospital, they fight against cancer (especially children with), he also gave away juwelery, gave away cars, he even gave away some houses to total strangers. Elvis started an organization that helps people to get out of Homelessness (Presley Charitable Foundation), this organization helps people even now close to 50 years after he passed away. A thing that you perhaps did not know: Elvis ALMOST NEVER did a show OUTSIDE OF USA, yes he did sing a few times in Canada: 4 concerts, 2 in Toronto, 1 in Ottowa and 1 time in Vancouver (during the 50:s?). When the Aloha From Hawaii (Live in Honolulu 1973) was showed it had 1.5 Billion viewers from around the whole world and 3.7 billion people lived on earth at this time, so it was close to 1/3 of all of the population on earth that wiewed the show, it was the first time a single artist was shown LIVE around the globe. Video of Mohammad Ali speech after Elvis died: kzbin.info/www/bejne/hoCbfKSVaLCHr6s I have to say that I loved being at Graceland and seeing his home, first we were at the house in Tupelo where he lived in his early years, he was born there ! You don't have a guide taking you on a tour, you can go all over yourself, but stay outside of the ropes and do not attempt to go upstairs, the outside is huge, so is the house, but you don't realise that from the front of the house. I don't regret for a second that I was there, or that I stood at his grave site and said out loud that this is for the humanitarian Elvis/the person/the man and then I gave him a military salute, the others there just looked at me and asked if I didn't like his music. So I told them that he was clearly one of the best singers and artists ever, but I loved his big heart more, he helped so many people without getting credit for it, he didn't want the credit of helping others, he did it out of love and respect and to me that is what true charity is all about. This PLACE (GRACELAND) should be a protected part of music history and also American history forever, I think that people will keep coming for years and years and years to come ! Elvis did lots of things for America to, he helped to avoid getting Polio (he took the vaccin in a tv show that made the intrest for taking the vaccin go from 0,6 % to 80 % in 6 months), he also helped in the figth to defeat Cancer by helping to build up St Judes children cancer treatment clinic, he also helped to build the Memorial over Pearl Harbour and many other things!

A bit of history lesson for you to help you understand the era that Elvis landed in. In 1956, when Elvis started to appear on American TV, all other singers just stood stock still in front of the microphone. Some might click their fingers or make gentle hand/arm movements but that was about it. From the very beginning Elvis MOVED when he sang. No one had ever seen a performer do that. In fact many of his early live performances were monitored by the police to make sure he didn’t do anything unacceptable. It was a very different time back then.

During the time of this performance, Elvis was being mobbed by fans at every live show he did around the country. Ed Sullivan, hosting the biggest entertainment TV show at the time, was hesitant to have him on, because of the negative criticism Elvis was receiving about his movements on stage. The next time Sullivan had him on, they only filmed him from the waist up. Yes it’s old, even for me at 68. The thing is, it was ground breaking for its time, and still relevant today. Thank you for sharing!

Elvis was the first superstar of the youth generation. Before Elvis, white youth in particular had never seen anyone like Elvis before nor had they heard of music like his before. His movements alone caused hysteria as before him, most singers just stood on a stage and sang; Elvis danced and moved all over the place. Parents of these kids tried to get Elvis banned from TV due to his 'evil music & gyrations.' He was a cultural icon to both males & females - his looks, the way he danced & moved & his singing style, along with how he dressed made him revolutionary to the youth culture. When he toured during this time frame, girls would mob the stage to the point that at one concert, Elvis had to leave the stage after his first song & had to quit touring because the hysteria became dangerous. "Before Elvis there was no one;" said John Lennon of The Beatles. I'd recommend "Hound Dog" on the Milton Berle Show back in '56 if you want to hear some great singing & see some of Elvis's dance movements. kzbin.info/www/bejne/jXvRh4R6dp6lfqM

I am 80 and I lived it. He started in 1954 this was from 1956, the Righteous Brothers were way later. Sullivan show was a long running show even the Beattle's came to America to be on Sullivan. Elvis was the first to wiggle his legs and hips and the girls freaked out. you talk about sexy. He often had to sprint out of the place he was performing to keep women from tearing his clothes. He was banned by many stations. You need to watch "Elvis Presley and the Black Community" the echo will never die. That is a short Doc that tells what a time he had in the racist 50's. It was so racist back then, white stations would not play black artist till he changed that. He grew up in a black ghetto in Mississippi in 1935. He was so poor. He is still the number one selling single artist of all time. Watch, from his 68 comeback special, "Trying to Get to You", you'll see it. I subbed.

Before Elvis no one performed in the way Elvis did. Sure they would snap their fingers and tap their toes. Some would do a tap dance or perform a song with traditional dancing, like Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers. Elvis was the first to shimmy, shake , and make that physical/emotional connection to the music. The hysteria over his performances were, to some degree, because no one had ever seen anything like it before. This was about 6 years before the Righteous Brothers came along. It's a very simple song but it is actually one of the first rock and roll songs ever recorded.

When he first started .. he didnt even realize he was doing it and why the girls were all screaming at him The girls loved him he had the whole package the looks, the voice the moves, the style and he also had a generous heart he gave alot of money cars jewlwry to strangers that he didnt even know, he gave alot of money to charities. Thank you for keeping Elvis alive, I love how the younger generation is willing to try out Elvis and end up falling in loving with him, I recommend reacting to ** ( Elvis and the black community part 1&2 that echo will never die) not long about 12mins, it will answer a lot of questions that your asking and you’ll learn what he went through it really helps watching this to get to understand Elvis There’s a lot of celebrities in it BB King, Stevie Wonder, Sammy Davis Jr, Arsenio Hall, Eddie Murphy, Serena Wiliams, Little Richie, 50 Cent, Three 6 Mafia, Whitney Houston, fun fact, Whitney Houston’s mom was one of Elvis‘s background singers You won’t regret it!!! I’m sure you heard that Elvis stole black music but that’s NOT TRUE at all and he was not a racist far from it!!! 👑🎶🎤

Elvis was actually from the generation before me but I loved him growing up and he was a superstar. The only other performer as huge as Elvis later in life was Michael Jackson. But you need to know that back in Elvis's day, there was no MV's or internet so his fame just spread via his records on the radio world wide. Only third world countries did not know who he was and that was an amazing feat during that era. When he died it was a shock wave heard around the world.

Elvis's style required more crowd interaction than most performers of the time. It'd be like these days watching a performance of a ballad and acting like you would at a rock concert and vice versa, it wouldn't work out too well for you 😂 if you watch Elvis's performances of ballads and more lyrical songs the crowd is quiet, but on high energy songs like this he feeds from fhe crowd's screams 😁

Elvis put his vocals to 768 individual song titles …. so you have a long, long way go down the Elvis rabbit hole. Welcome on board. I think I might enjoy your journey. Great to see!

Jane H ….. This appearance on the Ed Sullivan Show was in 1956 or 1957. Just about everything that Elvis was singing, became a Number One Hit. He was on a totally different level to the Righteous Brothers, who I think had their first Hit single in 1964, by which time Elvis was the highest paid actor in Hollywood, doing movies he wasn’t enjoying until he made a Comeback to Live Concerts in 1968 when his movie contract was up & he wouldn’t renew it.

Such a variety of music at the same time: older folk liked country or symphonies, and younger folk like Jazz, Blues, and &"Pop", and teens embraced Hop and Rock & Roll. Black & white warped into technicolor and stereo as programs and recordings advanced --all within about 10-12 yrs. Later, song writers began singing their own songs, too.

The Righteous Bros were loved and respected for their voices and songs. Elvis was a phenomenon that had the It Factor that made women go insane. He could sing, dance and was very handsome and sexy and his style of music was new to us which is why he was dubbed the King of Rock. Basically like the difference between the Beach Boys and the Beetles. People loved the Beach Boy but went insane for the Beetles. I myself was not a beetles fan and liked the Beach boys more. But Elvis was IT for me!!!

Ed Sullivan's show ran from the 50s through to 70 and it was a window on rapid culture change. The Beatles made their U.S. national debut on his show in 64. For another reaction you might try Elvis's version of Hound Dog performed in his second appearance on the Ed Sullivan show.

It was his charisma. The Righteous Brothers were good singers but when Elvis sang he also performed. He moved, he smiled mischievously, his hair was wild boy hair, he was exciting and stirred up energy in his audience that they had never felt and so didn't know how to cope with. So it surged into them from him, stirred up theirs, and came out as screams. The energy in the whole room must have been incredible. Elvis oozed emotion of every kind. There was and still is, no one like him. Even brilliant soundalikes don't manage to give the emotion and that special energy. Watch the duet he does with Frank Sinatra. The women scream at Elvis and it makes Frank smile his head off. It's truly amazing to see. Puts a big smile on my face every time. 😃
