Personally, Ann Margaret's decision not to reveal intimately what happened between herself and Elvis. I truly respect her decision. It's no one business at the end of the day. I personally have no doubt their year together was intimate and "heavy." Two very beautiful and similar people with fantastic chemistry bet neither individual could believe their luck. Also, EP and herself were single at the time with Priscilla at Graceland. Ann Margaret was only doing what literally every woman in the US could only ever dream of, being with the "KING." Damn could Ann-Margaret and Elvis move smoothly together, especially love how Ann's body sways to the music.

@@joshuagrover795 I have said for ever that she truly was the female version of Elvis. The only two entertainers that could go toe to toe and command an audience with the same talent, magnetism and chemistry.. It was that beast Col Parker that didn't really like those two working together or anything else together, he didn't want Elvis to share the spotlight with anyone else.. Elvis Presley was simply the King. He was a very, very shrewd performer. He made sure he always surrounded himself with the best dancers, singers, and performers. And one thing you never heard anyone accuse him of: being lazy. He worked very hard at being good. What a nice choreographed bit here.

Elvis is in the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame, the Rockabilly, The Rhythm and Blues and Country and Gospel halls of fame too. Nobody else is and he was in 30 movies, I didn’t see anyone else doing that, . No he was an original. Elvis is his own story, like it or not. I personally favour his Nashville work and especially the early 60's like "Elvis Is Back" album, but also the TTWII an Elvis Country phase of the early 70's. Of course there is this revolutionary 50's artist too. But you cannot deny that all these Elvis movies - no matter what you prefer - are part of the story or picture, and build up to the overall picture. And like it or not - sometimes - things work really great in one of those movies, and it just does not matter what people think. This (Viva Las Vegas) IS a great movie, it still entertains, and it still works. This video clip shows it. I LOVE IT A LOT. Thanks!!!

Elvis wanted to marry Ann, but he had prissy pants hidden away in Graceland with the promise of marriage to her and her parents when she came of age. Fact is Elvis didn't want to marry priscilla by 1967, but it was too late he got himself caught in a trap by Prissy and her money hungry mother and stepfather. I believe Elvis truly loved Ann Margaret, but as Ann said Elvis had commitments and promises to keep. What a shame. Ann understood Elvis's sense of obligation and loyalty. In my opinion Elvis's obligation to Priscilla was misplaced. Elvis definitely cared for Priscilla, but he did not really love her, not in the true sense of the word. Nor do I think did priscilla truly love Elvis either. Ann in her book said that Elvis and she where soul mates, and I believe that. What a tragedy.
