Billy has the BEST personality & quick wit. He’s a “character.” I believe Elvis was also. These stories are ALIVE & give us a peek at what “Living the Elvis Life” was like. I absolutely adore Saturday’s when there is a new MMK. Praying you ALL are blessed with good health so you can keep these stories coming for a LONG TIME. We fans certainly enjoy them.

I growled up poor and I love Elvis Presley for working for a better life. I have a blue 1954 Cadillac and I never forget riding a bicycle to work to pay child support and no one helping me. So now at 48 years old,,,,,You never forget the hard times.

Billy - you have to write a book on these early stories or get someone else to write them down - you're the ONLY one that knows Elvis life as a kid! I've never heard anything like this. These are sometimes more fascinating and charming than the later stories after he became famous that no one knows:) Billy & Elvis go Bananas? Whatever its called it would be great.
@lilianvantrappen49475 жыл бұрын
Edward Bonthrone Yes! Good plan. Billy, there are now throves of fans flocking together. Write everything down, plz. It is history and important. Elvis is so very much alive due to the internet. Wonderful! I for one have seen so much footage, interviews, concerts. I loved it all. My young nephews show an interest in Elvis too. I tell them about Elvis, see....... the legend lives on. We always live Elvis! Love your videos. Tnx!

Elvis has become legend and myth. They sealed Elvis' autopsy for 50 years. I will be an old man before we know the truth. Regardless of what he died from he gave more then most. Elvis Presley the boy who dared to Rock.🎸 A man is never truly dead until he is Forgotten. Long live the King.👑

That was a good video, the story of Billy getting stuck in the garbage can, and just so happened that Elvis walked by when Billy needed some help, and, y'all's sweet Moma laughing in the background, she's a pretty Lady... And, yeah, I know about round steak, fry it up in a skillet, still tastes good to me from time to time... Y'all stay strong and take care of each other, little things get a bit harder to do when you are getting older, but, Danny looks like him and his brother are still in good shape, hope to see y'all soon, 🎼😎⚡💙✝️👼🕊️🙏🎼♥️🦅🇺🇸

Me and my twin love your stories, you are our entertainment at home on You tube on our TV set. Our late dad Gene was a Elvis fan and a year older than Elvis, he use to play that song Big Boss Man for my son (grandson) in his Ford Truck cruising and my son loved it and dad would laugh and say this was real music not that rap crap you listen to lol. My dad loved to be silly. He would of enjoyed these stories if he was still here. He got my twin sister Elvis albums for Xmas (from Santa) when my twin discovered Elvis (magazine) in 1975 when we were six years old. Elvis came to Savannah in 1956 and again 1977. The commercial would come on for tickets at Civic Center. When he passed my twin broke down crying in the car (my moms Plymouth Duster lol) so dad got us some Elvis buttons to wear to church that following Sunday in his honor. We can't wait to go to Graceland for the first time for our 50th birthday October 5th. Saving up now for that gift shop lol ELVIS WOULD BE SO PROUD OF YOU GUYS, yah make us laugh. Cheers us up a lot watching you on KZbin.

Danny and Billy, this is so good it reminds me of when I was a little girl, and my Mom and Dad had four children and Dad was laid off from the railroad, and it was hard, we ate fried bologna sandwiches all the time but I loved it! It warms my heart to hear that Elvis was a poor southern country boy who trusted God for his talent and made it big, and then he took care of every body. You then took care of him!!! I love you so much for that, please be blessed today and every day in Jesus Name!!! ❤️❤️❤️Judy Hartman 🇺🇸

Hi guys, I've been a huge fan of Elvis for many years. He's made a huge impact on my life. I remember as a kid in high school being fat, awkward, and shy. I would come home feeling real down and alone, and putting on From Elvis Presley Boulevard. The tears would be flowing as I felt his heartache as much as I could my own until I heard For the Heart. It made me smile. My Dad told a story of how he supposedly met Elvis briefly when he was discharged from the army in 1960. He was a physician stationed at Ft. Dix at the time. Recalled Elvis being polite and very shy. Said he only briefly met him. On my tombstone, it is inscribed, Without a Song, the Day Would Never End. I've got to listen to him every day. I do have a question for you guys. Your parents may remember this. Can you tell me about the Nashville session in January of 77. I heard Elvis cancelled it before ever showing complaining he was feeling ill, while other claim he showed up for the session and was angry about something and left. The other question I have is if Elvis had lived, what direction do you think his music would've gone. From the song selection from the Nashville sessions, it sounds like he was heading towards contemporary adult country. I could've seen him record some of Kenny Rogers ballads and hit the charts even bigger. Anyway, sorry for the long talk. I appreciate what you guys do in keeping his memory alive. Thank you. Joe

Love your stories from the old days because it makes elvis just a Little more ‘human’ than seeing him only as the image. We may “forget” that even though he was such a phenomenon that he was a very poor country boy who grew up and became an everlasting legend 🤴🏻 Stay well 💛💛💛💛
