It's so easy to see how much Elvis loved Billy, if he was still with us you would be involved in Graceland.

Well LT might have checked on him or she might not have , think about this I use to work shift work 6am-6pm then every 28 days it switched to 6pm -6am That messes your sleep and your mind and body schedule up.

I wish more ppl understood that she meant she had to take Lisa to Graceland for the funeral. She did not mean they were traveling from California, she meant they were coming from either a hotel or someone's home nearby. She obviously did not spend the night at Graceland with Lisa the night Elvis died, so yes, she had to take Lisa to the funeral/wake. She also said she had to explain to Lisa that her father wouldn't be the same or coming back because Lisa was asking as any confused & curious child would. She was essentially preparing Lisa to see her dad in a coffin. Clearly Lisa was sheltered from the chaos at Graceland the day it all happened, hence everyone saying Lisa spent most of her time outside that day. Everyone is so prepared to hate Priscilla when it couldn't be more clear that she was doing what any good mother would do by removing her daughter from the chaos & explaining her fathers death in an age appropriate way as preparation for the funeral.

Your family is a treasure and hearing these stories first hand from family who were actually there is awesome. You all should do a book. The videos will live on but so would a book. I realize you probably would feel like making money off of Elvis but the world needs your truth

I remember that book as a teenager. If I recall Elvis was more concerned with what his fans would think than him being angry with his bodyguards. Obviously didn’t help his stress level.

It's plain and simple. Not complicated. The guys who wrote 'What Happened' and the 3, including Billy Smith who wrote the next one, 'Revelations'...after Elvis died, were complete betrayal books, written for $$$$. Would anyone here want their father portrayed in a trash book as he was dying? Final nail in his coffin. Then Billy and friends did theirs. These were the only ones besides the repulsive Stanley brothers who wrote a really horrible book with their mother and later on wrote their own. These betrayers sure didn't mind besmirching the good name of Elvis for $$$$/ That's why they were never invited to participate at EPE events. They went down the road at some motel and STILL tried to sell stuff and make money. Still doing it. Lisa hated them all. That's her father. About did Elvis in on that first one thinking of his daughter and fans reading it. Bet it would be a different story if it were YOUR father. So, when you choose to betray, you miss out on a lot. I've been going to Elvis Week since 2001. There's many people that were in Elvis' life who chose not to trash him who are there often. Remember one thing. I've read talked to and seen on video hundreds of people who made movies with him or got to know him some place. Every single one has nothing but praise for him. ONLY these I've mentioned here decided to take the low road and ruin his legacy. It didn't work. The first book took him down. Wonder what he would have gone through with this second one?.The betrayers have a small following of people who don't seem to care what they did.
