Scot, Craig. Wow what a powerful, thought provoking upload presented with the utmost respect and honesty. The words and pictures speak for themselves, but the tracks fit the narrative like a hand in a glove. Elvis was no fool, but definitely his own worst enemy at times. He was simply lost in a world so alien to every fibre of his upbringing and had been for some time. From day one he struggled with conflictions between his head and his heart. This upload a true testament and proof that behind the facade was a very proud man with a deeply wounded and troubled soul. His creative spirit had been broken for many years, bound by restrictive chains which he himself had been too blind to see, leading to years of personal disallusuionment and unfulfillment both professionally and personally. He was well aware of the way he,d tried to find a coping mechanism, and of how that strategy had backfired impacting not only on his own life but on also those around him. Frustration and despair as to how he could stop the downward spiral engulfed him further. He didn't like the person he,d become, he had realised and accepted the charade his life had been, but only he could change things, on his terms only as his pride would not let him listen to or see how others perceived him . Elvis was ready to change, he loathed what had become of him, he,d given too much of his life to the image at the expense of his own personal contentment. He'd always felt obliged to look after others needs first, he probably would have quit the business much earlier but felt obliged to soldier on, it was just the type of person he was. He had no blueprint to follow, he did his best, whether right or wrong, he did it his way. Thanks again lads, a very difficult time in Elvis,s life presented so empathetically. You both clearly see that behind the facade was a troubled soul with a huge heart.

Bonjour. Thank's SCOTTY for this video et see you soon. RIP ELVIS. FRANCE.

Scott and Craig, another terrific and heart-breaking video by both of you. I know songs like "Shake That Tambourine" and "He's Your Uncle, Not You Dad" must have depressed him greatly in the 60's, I mean songs like that would drive anybody over the edge but in the 70's the songs improved dramatically but by then I guess it was too late. Great productions by you guys on these videos....but the story just upsets me at how many of Elvis’ “friends” just sucked as much life as they could out of him and rode the gravy wagon train for as long as they could. Another man would have “broken” so much sooner than he did. But as strong as he was, it just wasn’t enough unfortunately. For all that he gave of himself versus what he received in return is so unjust. He deserved so much more. There’s a lot of people out there that need to hang their heads in shame for their actions.

These are such wonderful videos. True, he wasn't blameless but so much happened so fast. Being drafted, his mother dying, meeting Priscilla at such a young age all within a year. Everything had gone his way and then it didn't. It stuck with me that he said once you need something to do, someone to love and something to look forward to. Someone who had what he had just can't have a normal life but I wish the ending could have been different

The saddest part of Elvis's demise, to me anyway, was that he died right in front of us in all those final performances..we all died with him..just like millions that were there with him when he exploded like a supernova across the planet that's why to each fan it's such a personal thing like we lost a family member..Scotty and his team treat this with amazing acuity as they bring the facts to life for us like a Greek tragedy, it's sugar for the eyes and candy for the ears and soothing on the mind..they are amazing at what they do and they ooze passion and insight and deserve high praise for their commitment and delicate handling of an important piece of history.. they are better than best, they are supreme..period

Unfortunately no-one could save Elvis from himself. He took to many prescription drugs. He was suffering from the pain and lack of sleep. His body started to shut down but how many times they tried he still carried on. He thought that 40 was old. He was so tired and so many people relied on him, something had to give. At least now he can rest with the Lord. RIP Elvis. You were the greatest Entertainer and showman Ever. We will never forget you and your kind deeds you did. God Bless You.

Tan solo y triste. Solo su voz lo acompañaba. Nadie se hacía cargo. Al contrario lo perjudicaban. Y él lo sabía y ya no aguantó más. Te amo y siempre te amaré Elvis, mi Gran Elvis.

I Like all of ELVIS PRESLEY's Movies, some more than others ....why do some judge his movies ? , there used to be many Musical Films , Like Doris Day "Calamity Jane" , etc. what's wrong with songs in ELvis Films ? Musicals are Fun :) +++++ I think ELvis should get more Credit for doing very well with what he was given, I enjoy those Films of ELvis ....I can't imagine any of his Films Not being made +++ 31 Acting Films +++

Yehmiyah I’m not criticising his efforts..he deserves more..it’s not what he wanted for himself..his talent could have way surpassed what was given to him in the form of these quick buck movies

I think if Elvis could of stand up for what he wanted to do and got a lot of more rest and not be lonely and found a women more understanding about his career maybe he would not took so so much medication and be happier ant be a little more private he would of lived a little longer

So many poor films after Blue Hawaii. The rest of Elvis is sensational.
