Elvis could sing any song he wanted to. I loved his songs both rock and gospel. I believe he’s in Heaven sing with the angels now. God gave him a wonderful voice and he used it to make people happy. I believe he took Gods gift and honored God with it. He said more than once when people tried to call Elvis “The King” but he would shake his head no and say his Father in heaven was king not him. He accepted the crown and thanked them for it but he never put it on his head and never accepted as his crown. Elvis sung his songs and enjoyed doing it but couldn’t live a normal life because of the way he was treated by people. Elvis will live forever in peoples hearts.

None of these artist can hold up a candle to him Elvis has been gone for over 40 years. I still remember that afternoon when I came home from school and saw the news of his death on tv. 40 plus years and still million of people visit his grave site every year. More people visit Elvis' grave than all the Hollywood celebrities, famous people and politicians put together. Singers like Micheal Jackson (not the knock MJ) and the rest of them had nothing on Elvis. MJ is certainly talented but still second to the king. There are at least 100,000 dollars in flowers left at Elvis' grave site every year. Over 600,000 fans visit his grave each year. They sell tickets to the grave site at $12 each in the early 2000. Now it's $47 per admission (as of 2021) I guess if you spend thousands on plane tickets, hotels, food etc another $47 dollars is not an issue. No fan is going to object to that. They probably can increase that admission fee much more without complaints. (not that I want to see it) Most of the other celebrity grave sites have free admission. Still very few people visit them. Elvis' resting site is the most ever visited by fans. The admission brings in well over $20 million per year. Add that to all his paraphernalias and music rights, collectables etc. His daughter never have to work for the rest of her life. Elvis generates a lot more money 44 years after he death then most artists alive today. Elvis was genuine and real. He never forgot where he came from. He didn't let fame and fortune go to his head (like most celebrities) A down to earth man that the ordinary person can relate to. He treated people the way he would want to be treated. That's why he is so loved by so many. The reason almost no Singers today don't record his songs is because they can't do it better than Elvis. When you record someone else's song, you will inevitably be compared to the original. That's when you know how good he was. Listen to some of his songs like (can't help falling in love) that song was done by many artists including Andrea Bocelli. Bocelli is considered one of the best artist today. Go look it up on youtube and listen for yourself. There is no comparison. American idol has been on for well over a decade, they still don't have a contestants that comes even close to Elvis. Imagine if you had someone with his looks, singing talent, and oozes charisma? That's what an idol is about. Elvis is the original and the biggest "IDOL" of all time. That's not just coming from someone who has been an Elvis fan since the age of 10. He is simply the best. That's why people always go back to his music. Elvis was a true talent, not like so many that calls themselves singers today. I remember hearing Mariah Carey beating Elvis for the most records ever sold in the US REALLY? WHAT'S HER LEGACY? Elvis has sold more than 2.5 billion records worldwide. The single most EVER sold by one recording artist. How many people will be to attending Mariah Carey's grave site years after her death. Fans making unsolicited yearly pilgrimages. I think not. Most famous people and celebrities are forgotten (but for a mention in history) a few years after their passing. ELVIS is the only one that lives on for decades after his death. Let's be honest, the music he was provided with in some of those movies in the 60s were less than desirable material. Certainly not the kind of rock and roll that made him in the early years. But he did the best he could with them. Absolutely no one else other than Elvis could have pulled it off and done them as well as he did. Ironically I think some of his best recordings came out of the 60s, his voice was amazing in those years. He could sing anything. That was Elvis. They say (Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery). Elvis has been and will always will be the most ever imitated in this world. There are professional Elvis impersonators, commonly known as Elvis tribute artists (ETAs) from literally every country on this planet. There has never be that phenomenon ever. It's only happened once, and it will almost certainly never happen again. If you go to some 3rd world country where the locals don't even speak English (as I have), the people there probably never heard of famous politicians or celebrities but as soon as you say one name "Elvis" they know who you are talking about. To be known worldwide by your first name along is really saying something. He will live on through his timeless music long after the rest of us are gone. I'm not a religious person but the one person I would like to meet in heaven (if there is one) would be Elvis. I would like to shake his hand, tell him how much he has affected me and been a part of my life. I'd never imagined I would say that about someone I've never even once meet before. Elvis' music and legacy will always be loved in the hearts of people around the world. Even though some of these people speaks no English. That is totally AMAZING, unheard of. He will always be the one and only. There will never be another Elvis. Of all the new singers today, I still always come back to his music. He is simply the best ever. What Elvis had was something that can't be learned or perfected with endless hours of repetitive practice like playing tennis, it came with him when he was born. Nature gave him a gift that in my opinion will never ever see again in our culture. Not even close He truly is one of a kind. He will remain in the history of humanity. Like I said, looks, voice, charisma, talent, originality, uniqueness all in one package. Like a seed that grows and blooms into something that all our human technology, institutions and science will never replicate.

The one and only King of Rock & Roll, Elvis Presley, was one of a kind. Born poor in a shotgun house in Tupelo, Mississippi, he grew up listening to whatever music was available, and took his style from every style of music that made him what he became. He was unlike anything the world had ever experienced before and so talented, he could sing anything, but he excelled at gospel because he was a very spiritual man and he really put his heart and soul into every performance. Thats the reason every one falls in love with Elvis. Its also why he has so many impersonators paying Tribute to him. RIP Elvis. Gone too soon, but never forgotten. We will always love you.💔💞💖💕

I hope we could watch his concert here in our country in the future. He is always in our hearts and minds forever and ever 🤩😍😄❤️❤️❤️

Elvis will live on as long as time last as long as people continue to pay tribute to the one and only Elvis. He left us way to early. I first saw Elvis at a high school auditorium in . Thomas I’ll, NC. As we left we saw his black van with his name and band’s name on the outside. We kept trying to pronounce that name we had never heard before. Six months later he was at the YMCA in Lexington NC. This time it was only Elvis. His first records had made him famous.

Elvis Presley voice 😍 and how it drew you in made me feel like I was there in person. He sang from his heart and was singing to you. He was here for a purpose and a reason. I just wished I had a chance to meet him. He had a lot of meaningful 🎵 🎶.

I first saw Elvis when I was 13. I’m now 75, so that’s how long I e been a fan, but I fell into country music in 1970s. After that I barely even listened to Elvis much. Lol Christopherson shouldn’t be singing that song. But oh well. Lol Glad he’s got Scotty. He’s the best.

Chris Issac did VERY well, and so did Sam Moore, Aaron Neville and that Scottish Band with that weird name Wet,Wet, Wet. Faith Hill and Tanya Tucker were good as well..But, over all, I wasn't that impressed by most of them. Thought they could have done a better job with "Looking for Trouble" and even Kris Kristoffsen's performance could have been done better.. BUT "THE WORST" WAS THE THE GUY WHO WHO SANG Heartbreak Hotel on the piano...He sounded AWFUL and clearly was just showing off his piano skills and not paying tribute to Elvis! I would have eliminated his performance altogether!!!! Someone from America's got talent would have done better for sure!!! What were the producers thinking? Lastly, and what perplexed me the most; why didn't Mac Davis perform some of the songs he wrote for Elvis " In the Ghetto" and think he( Mac Davis) also co-wrote Memories? That was a huge missed opportunity for him and the production company itself...Now he's gone too and that opportunity was lost...

@@jand9770 kris kristoffersen was awful. He’s a great songwriter but a terrible singer. When you hear other singers perform Elvis’s songs, you realize just how great he was. They should have had the song writers talk about the songs like they did with Lieber-Stroller and then just played Elvis’s recordings. Very few of the celeb singers did justice to the songs they sang. Tanya Tucker and Faith Hill were among the minority. I also disagree about Sam Moore, he sounded as bad as Kristoffersen. Just my opinion.

Да здравствует король!!! Это шоу лишний раз показывает, что Элвис лучший. Я понимаю, что артисты ни в коем случае не старались подражать ему( это невозможно), они лишь отдавали дань любви и уважения своему королю
