What?? Tony Bennett says Elvis wrote Love Me Tender. "A lot of folks don't know this…but this song was written by Elvis Presley." ??? Holy cow...could he be correct? He seems to be privy to some information the rest of us don't have. Was it written during the making of the film and someone else took credit for it? And Elvis never spoke about it? most of the singers were country style singers. Was this related to the Grand Ol' Opry? Hope not because the Grand Ol' Opry rejected him when he first tried out with them, they told him to go back to driving truck....so hope this is nothing to do with them`!!! This was not Rock and Roll....like Elvis...I was disappointed
