Hi mate. Nice review! Electric boards aren't allowed on the road here, can you also use this without the motor (just pushing)? And does the battery look more hidden than lets say, a boosted board?

Storm Gervais you can push easier with this because of the hub motors. Belt driven would be harder to push like the boosted. The battery is more or less like the boosted I’m afraid but as it’s not as flexible you don’t have any issues with grounding. Appreciate the comment 👍

@@ZanderRound Thanks for the very quick reply! I actually ordered a backfire G2 black a week ago, but now I am thinking of cancelling to buy this one. The G2 black is also hub motors, so easy to push. But it seems like if the battery more or less looks the same I might stick with the G2 black, do you know that board? I bought it for 390 euros including shipping, so if I wish to get the same power I would have to pay 260 euros more for the Elwing (360 if I want 30km range) do you think it's worth it or are you not familiar with the G2 black?

I cant choose between the longboard model or regular model as someone who used to do normal skateboarding. I feel that for long distance a longboard feels better on the feet.

Nice review! I was wondering if you ever got round to doing the range test? I've got the nimbus version with the LR batt and tbh I'm not getting anywhere near the 30km. More like 16km riding mostly in second and a bit in third gear and over some hills. Maybe it can flat all the way in first gear but that is impossibly slow...

Single or dual motor ? Because dual motor version have very less range.

Dual motor but it was a battery problem. Elwing support were super helpful and exchanged the battery, now I get closer to 25km

im not sure i would recommend it over the boosted board, its great but not quite a boosted

It seems like they are. The motor wheels have 5 bolts and it seems to be removable. Don't own the board yet, but planning on buying one soon and was also looking into cloudwheels
