Reminds me of a Typhoon display during a German Luftwaffe "Day of the open doors" here in Bavaria. Amazing jet and the sound of AC/DCs "Thunderstruck" hammering from big speakers matched the performance perfectly. 🙂

It’s named `Cyborg Tiger´; and has been designed by the daughter of TLG74 Neuburg / Donau airbase staff member. She’s studying arts & design and got honoured being chosen for the 2024 Tiger for her fresh and bit out-of-the box approach.

Thanks for sharing Elwyn; and lucky you for being able to capture this at perfect weather conditions 😀! Appears like quite some of the manoeuvres and even sequence are very similar to the stunning display shown during last year’s “ZigAir Meet 2024 in Mollis, Switzerland” (I've watched that one numerous times 😃) - just that the backdrop of and echoes from the mountains are missing here 😅! Thus I'd expect it’s pilot `Noble´ from TLG74 again; apparently happily using opportunity at RIAT 2024 to stay in shape for Mollis.

Very nice display! All safe and sound, but somehow I feel we are lucky to have tele lenses. Maybe I am wrong, because I wasn’t at RIAT, but it looks like as if this display would have been flown 300 ft lower 20 years ago. One could still do it lower and still safe nowadays if keep the over-the-top manouver at the safer heights.

Since the war in Ukraine Starts. Germany twists into more acceptance to our troops. After WW2 we were in all Parts of the Community drilled to be against any Kind of war or military. We will Need a good Defence in Europe.

The Bundeswehr had a very high acceptance in the 80s already, as could be seen by the many displays they had on fairs back then. Something unimaginable today: kids on a Bundeswehr display, getting stuffed with Bundeswehr flyers to join when they are old enough (which was mandatory anyway).

The Bundeswehr was a very good army, designed to defend Germany. Later some egg-heads in NATo decided to change this attitudw towards International capabilities. Defend Democracy and women's rights in Afghanistan. What a disaster. We "helped" the US in every silly war and had to take the refugees from all these senseless wars. We have to go back to the old-style Bundeswehr and focus on germany instead of USA.

​@@andrslnks4804Das war nicht die die "Uschi", das geht zurück auf Peter Struck 2005. Ich habe selber auf den Zerstörern Lütjens und Rommel gedient. Ich finde es gut das die Namen von regimetreuen Soldaten des Faschismus nicht mehr auf diese Weise gewürdigt werden, das widerspricht in Gänze dem was eine Demokratie ausmachen sollte! In der Geschichte der Bundeswehr finden sich mittlerweile genug Namen die so eine Würdigung verdient hätten, da müssen wir doch nicht mehr auf diese Menschen zurückgreifen.

This planes got a awesome thrust to weight ratio, can super cruise, got the Taurus and is super manuverable, even it is not a stealth aircraft it got tiny radar signature and is comfortable to use for the pilot. It's a really good and deadly plane.

Judging from every single demo of it available it has above average maneuverability at best. It rolls fast I'll give it that. It doesn't turn spectacularly tight and has no nose authority or aoa. It's underwhelming because of all of the fanboys that hype it up to be something it's not.
