Elzani, I must admit that I just can't believe how huge transformation you went through. I remember your old videos, when you were in the middle of anorexia. That's just insane, how different person you are now! May I ask, how did yoy do that? I mean, did you have a certain "AHA!" moment, when you realised that you want to recover or was it gradual process with ups and downs? Did you have any help from therapists? Love you!

People have been asking her for over a year she is handling the emotional side of weight gain and if she’s had struggles. Also if she speaks to any health care workers for support. Unfortunately she doesn’t answer any of these questions. I’m assuming that she’s not comfortable sharing these personal feelings. I understand, but as an anorexic struggling with the weight gain I’d love to know how others feel. Maybe when she’s ready she’ll speak about it more.

@@Tammissa In her past videos, when she was struggling with recovery, she made several comments about her being mentally ill. After learning that SOME eating disorders may happen as a result of an initial mental illness, it’s made me think that although Elzani is conquering anorexia , she may still be battling the initial mental illness she’s suffering from. This is why it doesn’t surprise me that she never answers questions about what she’s gone through getting to where she’s at now in recovery, the good and the bad. We all know life isn’t joy 24/7, but for her own mental health, that may be all she is able to focus on with her content right now. Just the joy and happiness, and not the tough times. Like you said, there may be a day where she is able to truly open up, but if not that’s ok too. She needs to continue taking care of herself first.🙂

I know that many health professionals do debate over this matter. Some agree that eating disorders are a mental illness in itself, however, some argue that eating disorders develop as a result of having an initial mental illness. Their argument is that a person may develop an eating disorder as a way of trying to gain control over themselves since you can’t control whatever mental illness you may have. A friend of mine has bipolar disorder and before seeking treatment, turned to bulimia because she said it made her feel better during all the ups and downs. She is now recovered from bulimia, however she is still bipolar. (She’s medicated and doing awesome though!) I just remember the few times Elzani talked about being mentally ill in the past, it sounded as if she were referring to that as something separate from her anorexia. If that is the case I can certainly see why she is more private about answering the more difficult questions, and chooses to just keep everything positive.❤️ Sure, I can be wrong, but I certainly

Question Elzani... did you have any severe Bulimic experiences? I suffer with extreme bulimia on top of anorexia, and I’m trying really hard to recover but it’s such a challenge. If you did struggle with that, would you be able to talk about it somewhere? I would love to recover as well as you did, but I just need some mental insight or help
