I would suggest reading the light novels too.... You can watch the anime and re read the novels - works either way coz the anime skips a lot of cool stuff and the light novels are paced well

Eiyuu Ganbou (Heroic Desire) is great and especially well-matched to battles and conflict, but Determination to Fight is more cinematic and touchy, with an emphasis on remembrance of a Hero's good deeds and brave actions. In a lot of ways, Determination to Fight I consider to be actually superior to Eiyuu Ganbou.
