Great! Logic and the Atari beast: the TT030. Congratulations, Atari forever.

It's amazing how much of that UI is still recognizable to this day. Heck, big chunks of it were still pretty much unchanged even in Logic 9, like the score view/editor and the environment! (And the score editor is still pretty much like that in Logic X.)

Such an elegant programme, and amazing to see all the main functionality that was written into logic wayyyy back in 1994! . And it's all still there today in Logic x.

For those that are wondering, the screen sets are changed using Logic's meta events (which are still there in LPX today)

haha dang I miss those from the old demo songs. Is it possible to actually edit them anymore?

Your old Atari is still running? I worked some years with Emagic Logic on Atari and it was so nice to review all this screen sets... it was like remembering my first years with logic... Wau!!

Oh man I loved my STE. Used to run KCS Omega and loved it. I still loved the velocity stems on each midi note to edit - I still don't know why the new daws don't do that.

Recording sound while a big fan or a motor is making lots of noise is such a bad idea.
@klivvervisionАй бұрын
Yes, but since the point of this video is to demonstrate Logic running on an Atari TT030, it made sense to include the sound of the TT030 operating. The music in the video is coming from a GM synth running on another computer, being played by the MIDI coming out of the TT030.

@@klivvervision Oh, the noise is coming from the computer? I'm happy I never bought such a crap.
