how do you share the slide with an attached link in outlook. the slide would appear instead of just a link?

Thank you! Did you come across any way of inserting an entire presentation as successive images in an email, without having to repeat the process of copying one slide at a time from the thumbnail pane?

Interesting question... no I have never tried that before. That would also make for a HUGE email which might not make it by most people's spam filters. Is there a specific reason you are trying to send them all as images? One though is if you saved your slides as PNGs (F12 to save as and change the file type) you could then just insert all the slides (as photos) into an email at one time. Would that work for you? @@Nutsandboltsspeedtraining In my particular case, only 6-7 simple slides, the email is just ~ 800 KB. The purpose is to make the content easily accessible at a glance, maybe omitting sharing the file altogether. And no, I don't consider Outlook's preview function very useful in general. The "Save as PNG" solution actually works quite well in my case. It is not perfect, but the number of steps are acceptable for a process performed weekly. It also has the benefit of not rescaling the slide contents, as the method from the "(SINGLE slide Only)" video tends to do. Thank you!

@@mkvz3223 Got it. Maybe the best thing to do then is to just use the Win + Shift + S shortcut to take a screen shot of the slides? I can't think of a way off the top of my head for how to automatically push those slides into a presentation as pictures. You can check out that windows ink shortcut here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/bpymd5uCitynqpo

@@Nutsandboltsspeedtraining But that would still be one iteration per slide, right? The 2nd option is still superior

If you zoom out of your thumbnail view (or depending on how you resize the thumbnail view on the left), you should be able to capture 5 to 6 slides at the same time in the screen shot. You could also go to the Slide Sorter view if you wanted to capture more. It just depends how you want to send them in the email and if you want to type information inbetween the pictures.

Hello. Interesting but… There is one 3rd case missing. How if I want to put that 1-slide embedded in my email (not as attachement) BUT with URL in that PPT you can click on? Thanks

Looking for that info too. Did you by any chance find out how to do it?

This is not a "trick" to send a single slide, is the long process to send a single slide (since Microsoft did not think this could be a useful feature). A trick, for me, is something quick (something like a macro that I can activate from a button in the ribbon or right-clicking on the slide I want to send).

Sorry about that... thanks for checking out the video none the less. Hopefully MS makes this easier in the future.

@@ritikakapoor7248 no, a quick way to send a single slide from a slide deck as an attachment of an email is still missing

this guy goes too fast. I had to replay it a couple times. Also, I'm not sure what version of PP this guy is using but my PP doesn't have the email icon on my toolbar nor does it have an email option from the file menu.

That option has now been moved to the Share feature in the upper right hand corner of PowerPoint (close by the X to close out of PowerPoint). If you open that dropdown, there is an option to Share, selecting Share, you get the option to Email. Hope that helps.
