Thanks Lea, a couple I didnt know. What annoys me is someone thought we dont need to see the subject line after we open the email. This is very frustrating and having used outlook since 1998 I just cant deal with that and I'm going to another email. Then I saw your video, can you tell me how to keep the subject line? Not interested in Typing it in myself, what setting needs to change.

Hi Ruby, not sure if I understand what you are asking. For sure, you can add/sync different email addresses to Outlook. If you have done so, you can choose from which email address you would like to send an email. Hope this helps, Lea

Re New MS outlook in 2024 - changes Hi I do not work (retired), the main feature I use in the Classic MS Outlook is the Calendar for all my daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly appointments (I cannot function without my calendar - So teams, emails etc. are not important. But I use emails sometimes but mostly use Gmail. I did switch to the new outlook, but I did not like it - so many features of the calendar are missing. I switched back to the classic outlook. My question is when I am forced to use the new outlook, are all my appointments / reminders will transfer over, also the customized quick access bar will exist?? Currently my outlook (MS office 365) is linked to iCloud for windows, So I have access to my calendar on my iPhone, my laptop and Desktop which helps me to add or update any appointment in any of the 3 that I use at home or if I am out and add new appointment on my iPhone - would this feature will exist ? Comments from KZbin blogger: Lots of people have tried it and switched back. Remember the new coke disaster in the 1980’s? Maybe this is the same!

Are you using iOS version of Outlook or iOS Mail with your Outlook account? Outlook for iOS (and Android) works well (in my experience and those of most of the clients/friends I support -- as a semi-retiree). It can synch calendars and contacts and manage multiple mail accounts -- including IMAP and gmail. iOS has a few limitations such as not supporting images (pics/logos) in mail signatures. Plenty of documentation and videos -- including Copilot. Several long-time gmail and Apple Mail users have switched to using Outlook on all devices for mail, calendar and contacts.

Agreed. The "new improved" Outlook is slow cumbersome unwieldy....it takes me an hour to do what took less than 10 minutes in the predecessor version. All this repeated "Access Denied....Sign in again".....horrid! Cheers from Mexico City!

Ok Lea but I do not have that File option and as far as I can tell am running the New version of Outlook. Also try as I may I cannot add my Gmail account to Outlook after getting hundreds of requests from Microsoft to do so through the Settings option So what do I do??

For those who are confused by not having the same options as seen in the video (like not having flagging options outside of "Flag Message" and "Clear Flag") it is because you are using IMAP instead of POP3 as shown in the video. Google their uses and adjust as you see fit.
