Žemaitijos MTB Taurė 2022 Telšiai - Highlights with ENG Commentary 2022 10 01

Race highlights with english commentary. The caption of the cover is "It blows my mind". No, not because I was misdirected for additional 11km loop on a second lap by mistake - things happens. Its because some participants forgets that... Its just only the race :)
Other than that - first time in Telšiai MTB course and I loved it, apart from a bit lengthy gravel sections. It is hard to say anything about results when there were only ~20 participants, but after the first lap being 6th among 2-lappers overall was still a cheerful thing for once. Fun fact - my number of the race was 6th, and at the gas station I paid 6.66eur for the goods, haha!
This was 1/2 weekend races in Žemaitija, thus it was essential to not give it all on the first day. How it ended up we will see in this video: TBP

men "elite" 😂 all are riding fat bikes, hardtails and gravel bikes... i think LT needs some professional MTB full suspension scene

Just to give you some context on this specific race: 2laps(sport group) & 1lap(amateurs) starts at the same time. Where you see them “all” riding only those bikes - well, thats a matter of perspective, its not 🤣 But on the other hand - keep in mind LTU has 0 mountains, thus not all considers going for fully, but that changes over the years ;)

@@tom10crafted yes, i understand. i lived in LT for a while, i know that especially in Telsiai the people dont have lots of money. But trust me, owning a good fully and especially a bike with a dropper post changes your whole world in riding ;-) I didnt believe it until i got my own The dropper post is as important as the tire choice

@@Liqweed1337 can’t agree more! I am suggesting everyone to have droppers, even on hardtails 😅😅 Once you get used to fully, its no questions asked why its needed:)

Iš esmės žymėjimas buvo normalus, tiesiog nukreipiantis žmogus kažką kito veikė tuo metu. To išvengti buvo pilnai galima kad ir pastatant kėdę ant kelio! :D
