Mobius One with the maneuver and flare save on Omega 10 got me hyped and brought tears to my eyes. The fact it was followed by a full on evasive maneuver-laden charge into a missile swarm from Yellow Squadron that broke their formation was insane. His F-15C screaming 'Over-G', that he didn't flare for that move (maybe he was out - used flares 4 times I think?) and the noise of the switch from missile to gun were nice touches. As the top comment states; you made Mobius One both realistic and a god at the same time. Saving fellow pilots and then engaging the enemy's finest without hesitation, head on, better illustrates the source of Modius One's legend than any S-rank kill sheet. The SSN Breaking News overlay for a moment really added to the atmosphere of the news cast. Tells you some people were watching this go down on TV. The shots of the city at night, the broadcast and the anti-air assets on the ground really gave it shades of the beginning of the Gulf War and that first night in Baghdad (which was probably the partial inspiration for the mission as well). That SAM coming up on the black and white thermal gives chills. So does the searchlights coming on and the distant air raid siren. Loved the Namco sign after the shoot down of Black 9, btw. I discovered your channel with a random recommendation from KZbin for your B7R video (which was excellent by the way) and when I went to your channel I saw this was the latest upload and had to watch; one of my favorite missions from the game. Excellent work. Better visual storytelling than most films coming out in theaters with multi-million dollar budgets these days.

I get weird looks as a girl when I say I've played all the Ace Combat games (in the main series)~ and they figure I'm just into war games, and I tell them it's because of all the love in it, and the emotions it carries in its music and the passion behind every stage, the message and feeling it wants to convey and how difficult it is to find literally anywhere else in the world. That's probably where the weird looks come from, now that I think about it. Heh.... This is why you should never take "I love you" for granted. Not everyone is going to get 'why' they do no matter what you say, or how well you say it. But they do.

That was amazing man. The overall somber and realistic vibe Ace Combat 4 has, apparently naturally works well with stuff like this. In all of the other games, they go out of there way to make you feel "legendary", but Ace Combat 4 does so well at making you feel like "just another fighter pilot", you're just really damn good at it, and everybody starts to notice it. Because of this I think the player naturally feels more involved and immersed as Mobius 1. We don't get interviews of enemy pilots telling us how unbelievably skilled we were, and we don't have it constantly thrown in our face that we're saving the world and we are doing the right thing along with a bunch of characters all banding together to support anti-war and we fly as their pilots to deliver this, going as far as to call us a heroic entity from a storybook. In 4, you're just a fighter pilot and your effect on the war is almost entirely shown in real time by the missions taken and radio charter from both your comrades and enemies (save for a few cutscenes about, literally, just a boy lost in the war who hears about you occasionally). Anyways, awesome work, man! You did great with the whole Ace Combat 4 vibe I ranted about, regardless! everytime i see a nassault cinematic about ace combat it gives me goosebumps from both the amount of work that went through to make it and the nostalgia of playing ace combat on my ps2

Easily one of my favourite missions in terms of atmosphere. I love how this brought it to life even more.

This was sooooo beautiful... Once again, this is a truly impressive cinematic 😍 The editing, the cameras, the manoeuvres, the Ace Combat references, I mean everything is on point. The time you spend making those really does pay off! Congratulations!
