this was very personal to me. thank you! I attended the festival where the two young girls died in pomoma. I believe that this task force created in response to this unfortunate event. is there anywhere else I can subscribe to in order to get the latest news on this project? thanks!

+Edwin Velasquez The task force submitted their proposal to the board, who recently approved it, and it called for harm reduction measures rather than simply banning events. A positive result.

Thank you for that line about Portugal. We had a major problem in the past because of heroin epidemic. It gets better each decade that passes, but now people die because of the lack of information about the drugs available like MDMA. Majority of the kids of 2000's generations use it strictly on dance music festivals, without knowing anything about dosages, the importance of hydration and body temperature, plus the organizations of the music festival just ignore that too, this is the bigger picture in my opinion.

The sad thing is mdma is going extinct and people are dying. We Need to legalize it NOW. We could lose mdma forever alone with 100s of thousands of lives.

My initial reaction to this was, "very reasonable; too bad there's not a chance in hell of it actually happening." Then I read the comments and wow, it did happen, at least to the extent that it can. Maybe there's hope for us after all. I could use a little hope these days.
