One of the biggest learning experiences for me in the skill of "seperate the art from the artist" Fucking loved this dude in high school before it became known how scummy of a person he was. I still agree that he's got a legendary voice and I will always lament not getting more DGD or Emarosa with him. Me and my buddies used to try to harmonize drunk to this song and I still send it solo whenever it peeks it's head out of my playlist.

Not from his soul. But yeah it’s magic nonetheless. This is just repetition. No matter how fucked up he has enough practice to make it happen.

so correct.its incredible

@@allstopblue5717 Yes it is from his soul... you can't just sing like this even if you have all the practice in the world. But that's what you atheists do. Grind everything down to numbers, 0s and 1s, atoms and molecules. People are naturally gifted with certain abilities; it would not be possible to naturally be good at something according to your worldview.

It's blows my mind that Jonny can sing so amazingly LIVE. Not many artists can do that. But then again, this just shows how extraordinary Jonny is.

What baffles me most is just how naturally and effortlessly it pours out of him. It's an extremely rare talent to be able to vocalize like he does without any professional training. Just pure raw talent.

Just so we can all sing along with our boy Jonny. Piece it all together now Because I sell myself short every time Oh How you became my life You took me in before I could back out Well I still have faith It will start again Oh, I still have faith Well I'm about to spend my cold life Cutting corners, placing blame Any moment this could catch fire Erasing all the stains So here's to starting over We could be the same We'll change it all together The future's mine to claim Claim Mine to claim You can't get out Fear, couldn't place its hands on us my dear My pride has dropped Because I couldn't sell short myself this time String it along Say you'll love me either way Well I'm about to spend my cold life Cutting corners, placing blame Any moment this could catch fire Erasing all the stains So here's to starting over We could be the same We'll change it all together The future's mine to claim Seeing past It's about time I asked for more Watching my life, at the distance we have come While I bled While I've learned But I always seem to give up on my self (self, self, self, self) String it along (love, love, love, love) Say you'll love me either way (self, self, self, self) Say you'll love me any way (self, self, self, self) While I'm alone (love, love , love, love) Say you'll love me either way (self, self, self, self, love, love, love, love) Mine to claim Claim!
