This is a fantastic webinar. In my opinion, it is definitely one of the best I have seen from Embarcadero. Keep it up! This is one of the ways to keep Delphi vibrant and competitive. I would hope that Embarcadero would bring in-house the Python Libraries created by Mr Vlahos to ensure they receive first class citizenship support. I was nervous that he has been the primary developer on such an important library. I say let's pay him a fortune for his magnificent work and then let's diversify the knowledgebase around these libraries.

How about Python for C++ Builder, or is that automatic? 4:50 I was trying to use a C derivative as a scripting language in some of my apps.

(The?) One Good Thing about Tkinter is the canvas widget. I'm not aware of anything quite like it (essentially object oriented vector graphics with events) for Delphi that's actively maintained.

Why do they say multi-threading is not possible in Python in the beginning? It is very easy with the "threading" library, much easier than in Delphi I think: my_thread = threading.Thread(target=threading_function); my_thread.deamon = True; my_thread.start()

If delphi functions faster than python, what good is all this? Essentially, we just specify the variables in python, and then we call the delphi functions right away? I thought that python would make running certain numpy functions faster and therefore I would implement it under delphi, but it doesn't make much sense because delphi makes the execution of python functions slower.

Delphi does not exist in any environment. Github, Codility etc. I can't understand how this software language has lagged so far behind. We can't find a job anymore because we didn't give up on Delphi ☹
