We recently took this ship from Vancouver to Alaska. We watched several videos some of which were confusing to be honest. The key is being dropped off in the correct area and following the signs and cruise personnel instructions. It was different than many ports, but not a problem. Plan on arriving closer to noon to avoid huge crowds when multiple ships are in port.

We had the advantage of walking to Canada Place and therefore avoiding the underground car park. We did this to avoid the queues for the elevator. So for us it was a simple walk through the process.

Took the cruise from Vancouver to LA back in September 2011. What a mistake that was. Its okay if you want to re-live the first part of the classic movie the Poseidon adventure. Boy that water is rough out there once you get past Victoria.
