I had to bring you along today as we saw Blink 182, my favorite band! It was a great way to celebrate thirty years and I am already wanting to plan another trip to see them. Even though the day was fantastic, I had a little bit of an embarrassing moment having to explain my ostomy going through security. By the end of, I think everyone was aware of my situation. I wanted to share about that experience as well as I think its important to understand that not everyone wants their health on display, and that is sort of what it felt like.

There should be a separate line for health needs and better education for the security staff

This! Generally, you want a separate security line for people with mobility issues or any kind of disabilities or medical needs to offer some discreetness and privacy. And absolutely better educating your staff.

@@meganlovesdisneyandcrafts4780it's not "using disability as our whole personality" when it comes to these situations....honestly it would be nice to have some discreetness. We can be "just like everyone else" but we also are not like everyone else in every way because we do not have a full digestive tract like most people and have a prosthetic for it. This is challenging because in a way it is a disability even if it makes our life essentially better as in no longer suffering with disease (but we do have hardships that others do not have). So yes I agree there is nothing "wrong" with us, just like everyone else with any type of disability but it does exist and we cannot deny it's existence and certain circumstances that bring it into the public such as these security clearances, TSA, having to carry medical supplies, having issues with leaks etc

I went to a large concert in my area that had dedicated a particular entrance for anyone entering who either needed assistance/special accommodations or would be bringing in items for medical reasons that would not otherwise be permitted. They had well trained staff and volunteers working that gate, and people knew what gate to use based on their ticket code (you did have to request this gate when ordering your ticket). The system worked well from what I could tell, and the funny part was because that line up moved faster, people at the regular entrances/gates could be heard speculating if we were VIPs, sponsors, or something. 😅.

I'm wondering if I missed this when we were going in?! It seemed like there was only one entrance. I'm not sure about if there were any specifications when getting the tickets as Zak got them, but I love this! Seems like it would save a lot of time for everyone@

I’ve been to over 1000 concerts and festivals, and worked as a tour manager in the music industry and never heard of anything like this. Must be incredibly rare. I have a hard time even getting into venues half the time with a wheelchair, let alone with any of my medications or other medical needs. Wish the idea of these lines would spread!

It moved faster because they had all the competent people there. My epinephrine injectors caused me issues every time I walked into the National Museum of the American Indian at the Smithsonian. I checked the rest of my bags in a locker in the other building (no lockers in this one) but I didn't dare not carry my injectors with me waking across the DC mall multiple times in case I got stung. Three times I ended up getting the same guard who asked me the same questions about the injectors, including what medical condition I needed them for. Every time he was worried I would use the needle to damage something in the building. And all three times (twice in the same day, once the follwing day) I gave the same answers. One might think he would remember me as there were very few people there. Nope.

The love of my life left this world almost 5 years ago because of colon cancer. He was 34 and I was 33. We've had a full year before the end, of dealing with ostomy bags and everything related so I've learned how to do it too. Watching your videos and seeing you two together kind of had me imagining what our life would have been if my husband was still here. I would gladly take all these problems again and more if only to have him still here smiling with me. It's bittersweet but it does makes me happy to see some people still get lucky and get another chance. I wish you all the best.

I don’t have an ostomy myself. I mainly watch your videos because of the work I do. I work with kids and adults with various disabilities doing respite and habilitation care. There’s always a chance that I may have to care for someone who does. I watch these videos so I can learn about them. That said, I’m fairly more versed in dealing with service animals. My nephews have SD’s for their epilepsy. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been with them and they’ve been told they can’t do this or that and have their dogs with them. I’ve had to email a security company after an encounter at a concert where we had to tell 6 different people that they were asking things that legally not allowed to be asked. And they weren’t discreet about it either. I’m hoping I didn’t get them fired. I just wanted the company to be aware that they need to train their personnel better. I’m sorry you had to deal with this. That was not cool.

But we shouldn't have to do that ...seems too many are clueless though, I told TSA I have a colostomy bag (since most people have never heard of ileostomy) and showed the little blue and white card that's supposed to explain to TSA (and flight attendants) and he still didn't have a clue, said "it's okay as long as u keep it in your carry-on bag) 😮😂 I did show him my ileostomy bag on my abdomen to explain it's on me and extra supplies are in my carry-on. I was surprised by the lack of knowledge and was good I want wearing a dress as I wouldn't have been able to explain as bluntly and yeah it's a bit embarrassing having to go thru such

That is terrible. You did really well, in my opinion. Here is my worst security tale. In November of 2019, my Father-in-Law--an agent orange victim and survivor of multiple dioxin cancers--got his umpteenth kidney infection and after 30 years of fighting said he was done. He went home instead of being admitted and we knew it was the end. So we bought airline tickets that day for my wife, 6 y/o and 8 m/o daughters and me. The 8 m/o had been sick and felt really hot, so I threw a thermometer into the car and had my wife check the temp on the way to the airport. She was 105.3F oral equiv. There was no way we could get on that airplane with her at 11:59PM for a cross-country trip. I cancelled my tickets and stayed behind with her for a couple days, sending the older child and wife ahead. We spent time in the ER and urgent care, got a couple respiratory therapy sessions, and I was alternating between acetaminophen and ibuprofen both on q6 all by myself, so I was never sleeping for more than 3 hours at a time. I had to work as well during this time, so I was totally exhausted. My CD was worse from how hard I was pushing myself. Two days later FIL was nearing the end and I got tickets for 8 m/o and myself on the same 11:59PM flight we had been booked on two days earlier. It would be all night with a long layover in the middle and we would arrive at 5AM. It was a rush to see if he could see his granddaughter while he still knew who she was. I get to the airport and I am tsa pre-check and the only person at TSA. But they insisted they had to open and check all the sealed bottles of formula with test strips. With her still running high fevers, I told them I didn't want the formula opened, contaminated, and then me trying to use it all night with no refrigeration. The TSA website said sealed formula didn't need to be opened, but the TSA men claimed that I could go online and buy new branded formula caps and seals "all over the internet" so they had to open and check. Not only was she quite sick, we had gone through four miscarriages, 3 years of IVF, and my older daughter had spent a week in the hospital at 18 months so I was pretty paranoid about doing anything to make this more risky. When I pressed my point that I knew formula could be kept sealed, I was "punished" by having all my bags emptied out and a pat down. Then they got upset about my pull-up type adult diaper for Crohn's. Despite the fact that they had pulled two clean ones out of my bag and they knew what they looked like, they decided they needed me to drop my pants and prove that I was wearing an adult diaper. There should be no mystery here, I was using Abena Abri-Flex M3 and they are pretty institutional-looking. I had leakage through to the outside my pants on an airplane once and I will never, ever let that happen again. So into the back room with me and the sick baby and my dumped-out bags where they made me drop my pants and stared at me with my pants around my knees. I mean, it was obvious by the waistband of the "underwear" you could see above my pants. I tried to show them that it matched the ones in my backpack but I was forbidden to touch my bags. They finally let me pull up my pants and go, I got on the airplane and the stress was so bad, I still felt sick and about an hour into the flight I ended up walking down the aisle to use the restroom (I couldn't tell if it was diarrhea or I was going to vomit), passed out and smashed my head into the metal carts in the galley. Woke up with the flight attendants wondering if we had a medical emergency. I talked them out of calling EMTs in Atlanta because I explained my nurse-wife was picking me up at the destination and I had known blood pressure issues. But I didn't tell them I had a three-hour layover in a basically abandoned airport and then a second flight to my wife. The only funny part? The TSA people were both also men and yet they pointed to the bulge in the front of my pull-up "underwear" and wanted to know if I "had anything else in there". I had to explain to them that this was where I kept my external genitalia. I used to fly 6-10 times a year and generally had no problems. I don't know what happened this time but it really spooked me and I have only flown once since. I am afraid to go though TSA now. I dream about it.

@@fancydeer It was terrible, but unlike in the past where I have seen TSA staff clearly enjoying their power by being as officious and difficult as possible, that did not seem to be the case here. It didn't seem to be an ego thing on their side, it seemed they thought they "had to do it" like this. I've tried to contact them in the past but they only want to communicate through terse messages in a web form. After I posted this, I decided I needed to try again and I found an email address; I explained that what happened to me took a longer explanation and I asked if this was the proper email address, and if not if they could provide me with the correct email address or a USPS address. It seemed unfair to post this without making an effort to get them to fix things. I got back a generic response saying they needed all the details before they could reply to me (about where to send the details). I also wrote their media relations person for the area to ask for an email/USPS address, but they've not replied. The system seems to be set up to take complaints about "this person on this day", but not to address systemic problems. I'd rather work to fix the problem than just file a complaint.

If medical or any potential embarrassing issues, the TSA does offer a feature, not used a lot, to where they will have a agent meet you at your airlines ticket counter and personally escort you through a TSA lane that’s not always a normal lane to go through. For those whom don’t want to be a spectral to other passengers, these are a discreet and really un-noticed by anyone else. I’ve used this feature many many times, I’m in a wheelchair and use a lot of “special” devices and I’ve always felt like anyone else. It’s a free service and plus gets you through the line much quicker since your not using the regular lines. I bring many many medical supplies and get to take them with me no open questions asked. Again your dealing with a single TSA agent through the entire process. From ticket counter to your flights gate. This is a good way to go through with a senior member of our community/family or children traveling alone. Getting in touch with TSA, your airline can facilitate that or give you the phone number to TSA directly. It’ll depend on your airports TSA office is located for the phone number.

I'm glad you talk about this incident at the security check! I travel a lot in my job and as a patient with both ileostomy and bladder catheter, I can realte so much to this situation. I can gladly say that, for the most part, security staff are very emphatic and sensible, if they check the medical supplies they often do it in a quiet manner and almost always ask "may I" before they go through the supplies or touch my ostomy bag that's on me. Even if it's their job and they have to do it, it's so important in what way they actually proceed and making sure the "patient" is comfortable with the procedure! Sometimes they ask what's the use for the items I'm having and I'm always glad to inform them, hoping they can learn more and use the knowledge in the future. So big shout out to all security workers out there, thank you for asking for permission and being emphatic giving some privacy! Although I also remember some less smooth experiences, there was a lady at the Warsaw airport in Poland, she did not ask me for permission before touching me and started pulling on the ileostomy bag (even though I always make sure to empty it before I go though the security in order to make the check easier for them) and push on my stomach and even palpated harshly my stoma inside the bag, it really hurt and I said excuse me that is my small intestine and you need to be careful, you are hurting me, but she didn't even answer. My stoma felt achy some hours after that, I thought I hope no one gets into that position shortly after their surgery! It's been almost two years since my surgery and it still was pauinful. I considered for a while to report that incident to the airport authorities, do you think it would be the right way to do it? I know the staff has to do their job but I would prefer they are more educated about the different medical equipment they encounter and what they should and shouldn't do.

Best reaction to my stuff was a bag I have with an EpiPen and supplies in case I have an allergic reaction. It’s actually for insulin, but EpiPen should not be allowed to get too hot so I figure it helps keep it cool, and has a caduceus tag that says Epipen on it, so they know it’s medical supplies and easy to find in an emergency. So I’m going through security at Disney, and the guard looks at me and asks if that was if somebody gives me a poisonous apple. I thought it was so cute that he kept it in line with the brand. In the case of an EpiPen, I want it to be visible, so that if I’m unable to administer it, somebody can find it.

I recently took my family to Disneyland and I was worried about security because except one TSA experience, my worst times have been things like that (museums, concerts, etc). I've had problems both with my Epipen and with my Crohn's supplies, people demanding to know why I need them, etc. One guard at one of the Smithsonian buildings grilled me out about my Epipen three different times in two days. No problem at all at Disneyland. We went in three days and they were all great. None joked with me like that, but as soon as they saw it was medical stuff they backed off and were very polite. I was pleasantly surprised. In one case they just glanced in, said "is this all medical", and when I said it was they zipped it back up. No pulling my supplies out or any crap like that.

Maggie, 2019 I flew to Vegas to see Def Leppard with my best friends. I wear an insulin pump with a cgm. The cgm can't go through the medal detectors. I also Cary a medical supply bag with extra insulin, oral medications, and syringes. They used a wand on me at security. No big deal... Then they opened ALL of my bags, clothes, underclothes, medical supplies infront of what felt like the whole airport.... I guess that wasn't good enough for them, so I was sent to a room where I was patted down! They made me feel as if I was a bad person just because I couldn't go through the machine because of my cgm. There should be a separate line for people with medical supplies and security personnel that is trained to handle it...

I use a toiletry bag to hold all the extra I need. The added bonus is that it hangs up on the door. I had three people stop and ask me about the bag, but the second I said that it was medical supplies, they waved me on. No one checked the bag either. I was fully prepared to open, show, and explain. Suggestion: a special card could be given, or a tag for your bag, to prove that security have cleared your bag. Or the separate "medical exception line for entry", would work, with a tag so security knows you've been cleared. I know you are a great advocate for IBD. Perhaps one of the groups that you speak to, or some group could draft letters to be sent to Security or venues to address these situations. You have such a great attitude that you offer support and acceptance to so many people. I wonder how I could volunteer my secretary skills (in the dental field!!!) to write letters and send to Venues and their security teams to help make this situation easier for everyone. The venue thought ahead enough to let the public know medical supplies would be allowed into the Venue. They just need one more step to alert the security guards know you were screened and approved. You are doing such a wonderful service to everyone for addressing the delicate medical situations that many people experience. We must make this world more fair and kind to us all! Concerts are infamous for hiring security who have not been properly trained (like telling new hires to READ ALL the FAQs/rules on the venue's site who is EMPLOYING YOU). I would notify the stadium and/or whomever was in charge of security. Data should be on the venue's site map or FAQs. My disability does not require any special equipment, but I habitually overload my backpack. This is normal for me, but not appreciated by security. BTW a simple wrist band issued by venue (you know the ones that required a surgeon or carpenter to remove...just joking), at your first stop/explanation maybe attached to bag would solve a lot of problems.

I recently went to a museum with my medically fragile son. This museum only allows clear bags inside. I carry quite a few medical supplies (cath, gtube, incontinent, medications, thermoregulatory) inside his backpack plus a smaller one for his gtube pump, neither of which are clear. I got to the security and he was quite nasty and said he couldn’t come in with the backpacks. I explained that they were medical and he wanted me to first take off the bag with his pump (which he was eating, so couldn’t be separated from him) off of his wheelchair and then asked me to open the backpack. And he wasn’t nice about it either. Once he saw medical supplies, he was much nicer and tagged the bags so we wouldn’t get stopped again. Other than that, I have never had a hard time getting through security with his supplies, but it is very clear that he has significant disabilities. They should have a way to indicate that your bag had already been inspected and cleared so you didn’t have to explain numerous times.

OMGosh Maggie you look beautiful! You look like you feel better in your intro and in the video! And your makeup is ON POINT as far as I’m concerned it looks so flattering and suits you well!!!! I hate that you had such an issue with security. I had an issue with the security at Disney World when my parents and I took my kids, my son has seizures and other medical issues and he is on A LOT of medications (it looks like a pharmacy) that he takes at different times throughout the day and the security guard was like why all the prescriptions like I was smuggling in something illegal or something. He had me go through all of them and explain what they were for and thank goodness he and my dad were in the same line with me because the guy even tried to question why I had them and my name wasn’t on them and I was like they are for my son so he tried to ask for some sort of verification that the meds were my son’s and I was like he’s 14 he doesn’t have an id card. I was finally like “dude can you get a supervisor over here because this is out of hand” so when the supervisor got there I told her what hassle the guy was giving me and explained what the medical bag with all my sons meds were for and she apologized for the problem and let us through without even asking for any verification or details as to what the medication was for but by this time the other 20-30 people behind us now knew about everything that was in this medical bag and all the issues my son had it was totally mortifying and embarrassing and totally unnecessary.

I am so sorry you had to go through the ridiculously unnecessary humiliation by the security guards at the concert. Can you get your doctors to write a little card with their name, etc. explaining why you carry that bag? That would help a lot. Get it laminated and keep it in the bag when you need it. Then just give it to them when they ask why. If that doesn't work then take drastic step #2. Embarrassment. I'm kind of a rebel at 72 and I would pull up my shirt a bit and say "this is how I take a poop! Would you like me to show you how? " They would get the point then! Then tell them, "next time, I know you have to do your job, but, you can do it better with some discretion and class!" They would get the point then. So happy you were able to enjoy joy the concert. BTW I just love your Vlogs. I am learning so much and I really enjoy it. I had no clue and this really educates me! Thank you!

I had a similar experience in airport security. I carry a card and make sure I show it to security, but still I felt like I was being scrutinized, publicly. I went to a outdoor music festival maybe about 2 years after my surgery. I was really worried about bathroom facilities because I couldn't see emptying/changing bags in a porta-john. So I began the trek to find the event relations spot to ask about access to disabled facilities because I have a ostomy. 1st person, confused look "I'm not sure if we can do that. Let me get someone else." 2nd person, less confused, seemed to maybe understand what an ostomy was "I'm not sure about that. Let me call someone." Sent me up to the closest bathroom with larger disability facilities. The young attendant said, "Absolutely! And if you need to come back, just come back here to this one and I'll take care of you!" Just so kind. It's hit or miss. Have gone to 6 or 7 concerts in the last year and breeze on through with my supplies in a makeup bag that is then in a clear bag.

I had the whole security line at the Amsterdam airport know about my bag. The agent got mad that I didn’t warn everyone before I walked into the scanner! She took me aside to fondle my bag by hand. When she was squishing my output through the bag, I said, “and that’s my poop” ;) Her hands shot back so fast! 😂 and then said I could go on my way!

I understand the frustration but at times I have fun these situations. I don’t have your medical condition but one of mine is a lost the sight in one eye. The eye wanders where ever it wants and I was taking the eye exam at DMV to renew my license. There multiple eye charts on for each station (about 10). As I read the chart the guy said “sir read this chart not that one, we went through this a few times each time I said ok while his frustration built. I finally said are you looking at this eye I’m blind in that eye, the look on his face was priceless. I told him it was no big deal I was having a bit of fun with him. Honestly if I had been you at some point I would have lifted my shirt.

I don't have an ostomy, I actually just came across a few of your videos and got curious and thought I'd educate myself a bit. I have epilepsy and I have a device called a VNS implant. It goes off by itself every 5 minutes, or I can use a magnet to turn it on. So when I go through security It's not recommended to go through a medical detector or have the wand swiped across my chest where it is at. So I have to explain it to them and they get very confused. One time I gave up and just walked through the medical detector and it turned my device off for a few hours. So now I just tell them I have a pacemaker and they don't think twice. One other time my VNS got in the way is when I took my board test to become a LMT. You can't bring anything in with you and I explained to them I had this implant and I wanted to bring my magnet in just in case I thought I might have a seizure I could use it. I ended up having to wait until everyother person went in the room before they let me go in, I was able to bring it with me but it caused a huge scene and made me feel very embarrassed, i even offered to leave it with them just to make it easier, and still had to wait.

I get your pain. I advocate for affordable housing and I also wear a 36DD bra. I speak at city and county meetings to advocate for my issue. Sometimes I explaine in a quiet voice that the wand is picking up my underwire. Invariably it's a man who can't figure out underwire. But also I wear a corset that has verticle flexible steel braces, three of them, for my crooked, arthritic, disintegrating spine. I walk with either a walker or a cane depending how far I have to walk. I always have to explaine and sometimes I have to pull up my shirt to show them I'm encased in elastic and steel from waist to bra. This happens in a long public line in either city hall or the county hall. But I'm committed to the issue and I do everything I can to make really obnoxious guys, always guys, feel like they are full on Gestapo threatening a little, old, white haired lady, while being super polite. Lots of fluttery comments about, "how embarrassing and inconvenient this is but I know you have to make me undress in public," etc.

I'm so sorry you had to go through this. The security guards should be more discreet and more educated about their own policies. I don't get why some people just don't get it. I hope you speaking up will bring some more awareness and that you feel better soon. I have an interesting security story I hope will make you laugh. I was going to a musical at a big theatre downtown. I also didn't realize it would be a long walk and was wearing high heels. My friends didn't plan well so we had to run to get there in time. I had an asthma attack. I get myself together, go through security, and the guard can't figure out why the metal detector was going off. It was my underwire bra. I can't imagine that's a rare situation. So what does he do? Yells for all the theatre to hear, "Gentlemen, she is well endowed!" I wanted to crawl in a hole, but at least I can laugh about it now. 🤣

So ridiculous. They could've had labels that they wrap around the strap that stated it had medical supplies. I heard in a blind ladies video (Joy) that she had to board a plane and the customer service attendant was asking for paperwork, but the seeing eye dogs are legal but dont have any. Only emotional pets you register online. She had the dog for years and was never asked this... Its bad going through airport security too. My hubby has two ostomies and two hip replacements, so he is TSA Agent's dream. He has had to have his bags he is wearing swabbed to prove that they don't contain explosive devises!!! This is a routine occurrence whenever he flies! He even has a TSA pre-check, for all the good that does him. The agents don't care if they do this in full view of other people, so my husband always requests a private room for this to happen. The indignities heaped upon people with medical conditions is horrible.

I have an ileostomy after having a total colectomy. When travelling I usually wear a guard and support belt, not that I need it but it makes me feel safer. On my first trip to the airport after surgery, I was scanned and immediately taken to one side for a pat down search. The security guy said what is that round your stomach so I explained I had a stoma etc. He said “what’s a stoma” and called over a senior colleague. I explained my situation and even lifted my shirt. Another security guy immediately came over and took me to a side room, where I was asked to remove my support belt. Embarrassing for my first time flying after surgery to say the least. But you know what, I don’t blame the security guys, they were thorough and just doing their job. The guy who took me to the side room was very apologetic and I had some sympathy for him. I guess it’s something I am going to have to get used to. I have another flight with 2 mates in a week, they know my situation and expect me to get stopped In security. I know they will make a big joke out of it. Being open and laughing about it, makes me feel much better.

Don’t assume that people know what an ostomy is. Have a concise explanation ready if needed, and try and have your supplies packaged so if someone touches the bag they can’t break/contaminate anything, that might help calm your nerves. Be nice to them at first and assume they don’t understand. Only after you have explained politely and been mistreated is there the need to get into a fistfight. At which point break out the brass knuckles! In seriousness though, being confident and polite and pleasant is often quite disarming and many people challenging you who are actually not quite sure will back down if you appear to be armed with all the right information. So be prepared with your brief explanation of your medical condition , and a good understanding of your legal rights and the accommodations which must be made in what ever country you are in. It goes a long way. It’s also helpful if you make suggestions (if that’s appropriate in the circumstances) of how to meet your needs. Often if you need help of some kind and have a right to it, it might not be provided due to lack of understanding rather than lack of willingness. So be willing to explain what you need and don’t expect people to know. Not really applicable in getting the through security example, but it might be relevant in a different scenario so keep it in mind. Hope that isn’t too patronising, I’ve found it’s helped me.

We had to explain to 6 different people that they were asking questions that aren’t legal to ask. I gave them cards with the links to the ADA website so they could educate themselves on the subject. They let us in because they realized they legally had no choice. But they were very reluctant. I had to email and call the security company as well as the higher ups for the venue. I had to send them links to the ADA website, proof that they actually needed the dogs to be with them. I didn’t want to get anyone fired I just wanted them to be better informed and trained.

I've got an ileostomybag with a belt, a fracture belt (don't know if that's the English word is) and scissors as i have to cut the hole myself to fit. When travelling i have to pre cut a few bags and put the scissors in the ckecked bags, not the carry-on. Also it is a hassle at times to go to disableds toilets. Either they are locked from outside, in a strange place, or are full of rubbish as the owner just uses it as a storage room. But then i am thinking, what if somwbody is in a wheelchair, how does that person hve to go to the toilet there? So either people with disabilities don't go to restaurants or concerts that often, or i don't know. Though i get the feeling that many residences are obligated to install one disableds toilet but then put one for show and use it as storage instead. Not to talk about elevators or lifts that are efectively too small for mobility scooters, oftentimes are out of service but are put there (subwaystations etc) just because it is obligated.

Oh the "Joy" of having to take medical supplies. Last few Gigs in UK have improved. I rock up in wheelchair say there are goodies in bag do you want to let your sniffer dog check in real life situation and often they say that would be great. I and bag get a colour coded wristband so no other checks it is waaay better than it used to be. I think it was improved by folks giving feedback and suggestions everytime they went to Gig it should not be that way but eventually we have been listened to in most situations. I Love Live Gigs however my bag bigger than yours has a whole range of goodies needles, syringes, opiates, tablets, nebuliser and what do I get challange most about Isotonic Drink as, all events have promoted drinks but as I say are voice seems to be being heard. It might be worth you doing a shout out to followers and getting them to give wristband suggestion to main event security companies

Having given my best story below, here’s the worst. I was on a harness for a heart monitor, and I work a lot of times in the courts because I’m an attorney. The security gave me such a hard time getting that through even though they know me,. At the time I was a badged law enforcement level I peace officer I go through security five or six times a week, at least. I had to give all these explanations they would yell at me. They harassed me about some of my supplies to the point where I had to make a complaint against them for violating the ADA. The question really rises. How much information do they need to know about my medical conditions and do I need to last that woman standing in security in the public?
