He certainly by his action on the D Day commemorations shows he is keen to get out as “Sunak” possible. His wish will certainly be granted soon. I question Rishi's British heritage. He clearly has zero empathy for armed forces personnel, or people who fight for their country. The Conservatives should have just kept Boris, now they won't even exist as a viable party in a month or so. Good riddance I say, we need a better alternative to Labour.

Stop defending a leader by blaming his advisors. As a leader Rishi Sunak must carry the can for this extremely disrespectful act. He should have vetoed it. Period. His apology was all a political gimmick about judging him by his actions. His inflated ego got the better of him. Hope he had a restless night

This is especially the reason why Rishi Sunak should have been advised by his advisors. I wonder if they, too, are of the ages or backgrounds, that were taught to not appreciate the positive history and traditions of the UK and the West?

It's really baffling how this could have happened. Was this intentional? As in, he did not want to be seen with European leaders so as to appease the Reform crowd? Or did he really not realize the weight of the occasion? Neither explanation is good.
