During the festival of trees it's completely full of sponsored trees and usually visitors observing at night.

I'm so glad you mentioned this room! I had the opportunity to go through it once, and it's crazy how few of my friends know about it!

Thanks for watching! I wish more people would use it. They spent a lot of money to build it.

My dad Gene Kimpel was very actively involved in saving the Embassy back in the 70s. He and my Mom, Mary went on to be volunteer ushers for many seasons

Thanks for the video, very interesting. Last time I was at the Embassy was late 1990 for a Petra concert...your making me feel old.

That's cool. The last time I saw an actual show there was in the 90s to see the magician David Copperfield with my dad. It was really a great show. I've gone though recently for other events.

I hate hearing stories of these greedy developers buying some buildings of historical nature only to be torn town. An example being the old Kendall County Courthouse in Yorkville. Great to see that this was preserved and put on a registry.

Yea the people wouldn't let this place get torn down. It's a really nice place again.

I actually went there last school year to take semi formal photos with my friends (we made it into the yearbook lol) cause the dance was at the Grand Wayne center nearby. The embassy is so classy!

Good lord, the last time I was in this theatre was to see the Beatles "Hard Days Night". I was six. I couldn't hear the damn movie because all the stupid girls in the audience were screaming. Yes... at a movie. LOL
