@@Dimi1982. Actually Turkish version was composed or arranged by Ottoman court composer Mehmet Ali Bey, a student of maestro Callisto Guatelli. We don't know the exact date when it was composed or arranged but it was far before 1921 because Mehmet Ali Bey was dead in 1895. The origin (Greek or Turkish) is unknown to me. Most probably it is a χασάπικο played around western Anatolia during Ottoman Empire. The year 1921 most probably is the date of the other Izmir March.
