All the contracts need to be investigated, including any ownership ties, family, interests in the construction companies contracted to build the rail etc. This thing is insanely corrupt and a giant waste of our money.

Implicit messaging in a lack of collaboration is discord, disorganization, and chaos in an already embattled project. The rail,just needs to stop. It was never going to work (do what it was designed for) and be economically feasible from the get go. Look at the rail system in Seattle. There are not enough riders and it hasn’t made an impact on traffic. Hawaii is not the mainland. Check the offshore accounts (or bitcoin) of the “leaders” that approved the building of the rail. Bet you they have more than what their salary actually is.

No. Blame Hanneman he suggested the rail. In the 70’s mayor Fasi put the rail on the table and it was shot down, but Hanneman brings it to the table and it’s in motion. I don’t blame kahikina she tried her best.
