Nice explanation.

Middle C on the piano sounds like red (the beginning of the visible rainbow spectrum). The world's great love songs are in C-major. 32,768 hertz, when continually halved, reduces to an lower octave of 256hz: Middle C. Therefore the piezoelectric crystal resonates in red. An extremely high C-note. Music is frequency in time. This would explain why time--at least on the grand piano--begins where the rainbow commences. At least that's what Glenda the Good Witch told Dorthy after cracking a cigarette.

Probably it is also because of history, availability and economy of scale. Even if today we would find a 65536Hz crystal to be more power efficient or to be slightly smaller or slightly more precise, we would probably still stick to 32768.

How Can I Lower The Frequency From 32768 kHz to 24500 kHz? I Wanna Create And Measure Martian Time Which Is 24 Hours 39 Minutes Thanks

Its recording seconds, not hours or minutes, so you would just measure the number of seconds in a martian day

What I want to know is why there are so many videos that explain what one is and why to use one. No one can show a simple example of using one. Hell, I can't even find a video that mentions what the two pins are. ground and vcc?

ground - electrical ground, vcc - voltage source, sda - serial data, scl - serial clock - you want to just look at circuit diagrams because its basically how you would wire a lightbulb (twice)
