I mean, other ghosts like The Box Ghost, Walker, Johnny 13, and Pointdexter were obviously alive before, but there are others that make me believe that they are really just spirits born from the manifestation of some abstract concept. This is a fantasy show in a fantasy world version of earth.I'm a Christian too and yes in real life many of us don't think that the deceased walk the earth.We think so called ghosts of the dead are actually demonic spirits impersonating them,because we believe that people go to hell or heaven when they die. But that shouldn't matter for a fictitious world like Danny Phantom is set in. In a fantasy world anything the creator wants to be true becomes so. (Although, as for why he chose her specifically, it was probably just the first thing he found that fit his criteria) She's a female figure being endlessly showered with love and affection he craved, while also representing loneliness, depression, bad luck, and being forgotten. He started out as normal person just like you and me. Anyone of us could go down the same path if we aren't careful. As you walk deeper into the darkness your eyes adjust to that darkness. As your eyes adjust to the darkness the light begins to become painful and you no longer seek it, instead you continue further into the comfort of the darkness. That's when we need someone to shine a light for us, and stay with us, even as we try to look away.

Danny Phantom was the show though I don't know/recall much about it since I was such a small child but, I do remember someone told me of Ember's story. Basically the boy (who I remember was Johnny) slept with her, left her, cheated on her with Kitty. The next day she dressed up all rocker style and Johnny still replied "It was just one night." So she wrote her song before burning pictures of Johnny accidentally causing a house fire. She never got the love she wanted but, does now from the many fans who adore her. This really makes me think about how I never considered ghost to be dead people as a kid until hearing that. So I kept thinking what other sad stories did the ghost have, when/how did they die?

Well it's already been 2 years since we found this HD version. Crazy how fast time flew. I owe it all to Robbyn Kirrmssé for uploading it on her website. Without her, we would STILL be forever stuck with the horrifically low bandwidth degraded mono bootleg mix. There's no real way to know for sure who found it first, but I'm honored to be the first or second to post it on KZbin. I'll never forget hearing those high quality drums start on that night. It was 3am and I had to hold back from screaming hahaha Glad the fans of the show have a strong affection for the character and the song. I've learned many things from Robbyn personally (Ember's singer) about the song and have become good web friends. Even if this was a rushed and dodgy edited tribute video, it's brought a lot of fans in the community together in more good ways than bad. I'm glad I was able to help contribute to that. Ember's song remember is actually about her entire life her boyfriend cheated on her and she wrote the song remember to make him remember her name the last verse of the song the pleasant dreams and cold December nothing but ashes remain refers to her father being a drunk and dropped a cigarette causing the house to catch fire one night he made it out alive and left her in the house as it burned to the ground those who don't understand the song don't listen to the lyrics very closely enough to catch this but perhaps this will help you out and understand the song a whole lot better.

I loved watching Danny phantom when I was a kid. I always watched it along with my best friend whom I’ve met in preschool. We watched this episode together as well. Our friendship ended when she hit puberty and I never saw her again. This just brings back so many memories to me personally that even after not listening to this song for over 12 years, I could still sing along after all this time!

"Remember Facts" (from Robbyn Kirmssé) - I cut the song with Guy at his home studio, just the two of us. I have performed a song with Butch present at the recording session, but not "Remember". He's a really nice guy (he writes 85% of the lyrics)! I only did the lead and backing vocals...Guy creates the tracks...He's a genius. Cartoon music requires sophisticated and exceptional talent...and Guy is the man! I don't know that the version on the cartoon was ever completed. There was only a little of the song used. The version I did was completed though. The "Remember" song reminded me of a 50's/ 80's/ Go-Go's song. It was a total kick to sing. Intimate and powerful at the same time. I am so happy that people feel a connection and are fond of it! I have informed Butch and Guy of the enthusiasm around it and hope that they will release it formally... Billy Barnett That's always been my theory. Butch Hartman wrote most of the lyrics but he never acknowledges the song. If the episode were made today, that track probably would've been on iTunes on the air date. I think it also has to do with how technology was for music 2004. iTunes was still in its infancy. Physical CDs were the primary source. Of course not long after everything became digital. I think that's a major reason why the track was degraded for so long (the bandwidth). Even to this day, the track hasn't been properly released. Robbyn only put it on her website for her resumé. I've honestly given up on begging for an iTunes release. It'll happen some day, but I could see 5 more years going by before it happens.

WorthlessToaster Although I really like this show I hope nobody will bring it back. I can´t imagine what would be 4th season about. Vlad coming back and trying to rule the world x years later? Another villain with the same plan? Something different? Who would fight him? Danny with friends and family? Or Danielle? Imho, the 3rd season was the least interesting and I´m afraid after "reviving" this show its quality would drop. It´s a pity Nickelodeon won´t release any ost even it´s 9 years since this show ended. This cartoon´s soundtrack is very "catching".

Alsana I think it'd make better sense for Danny Phantom to be brought back with a reboot, not a 4th season, seeing as DP was originally cancelled, & that's why the 3rd season seemed so rushed and left such an abundance of plotholes and lacking character development... If anything, the creators deserve to redo the third season as it was intended to go.
