Heat wise the liquid needs to be a min. of 100 degrees for it to trigger it to work. When you say "full cup" are you talking 7.7oz from the nespresso? I love the attention to detail. Did you notice that the brown cardboard just about matches the color of the charging cord? I LOVE my ember, it's the best gift I've ever received. I use it daily sometimes multiple times a day. I usually keep mine at 134-136 and it'll last about 90 minutes.

@livelaughlove384 so I think the heat is the problem as I sometimes brew an espresso pod, then I put milk in it… and sometimes the frothed milk cools it down too much and it turns off! Full cup to me means 7.7 oz plus room for a little creamer 😂 Yes! I did notice that detail! And the chargers match 😍

@ really?! Huh! Is the foamed milk steamed in your arricinno? Maybe your first generation was a lemon…so odd! I can squeeze a 7.7 in the 10oz mug (I think that was the only option when got mine. I could be wrong.. with around a tablespoon-ish of creamer and stevia. The foam is excessive with a cup of regular coffee it’s it kind of irks me actually. Like espresso, double, and the one that makes 5oz or so. Those I’m okay with crema/foam but aside from that I’m so not looking for fancy schmancy from a “drip” and it dirties my cup more than I like and with the ember the foam kind of attaches itself to the mug making a quick rinse not so easy. I digress…lol I love the color of your ember and it’s nice to find someone else who enjoys it. Some people don’t “get” the joy lol

I love my ember mug 2 gold edition it’s great for hot drinks when i can forgot about it or wanna take my time drinking it. Plus if you are making a drink that is meant to be at a certain temperature it’s easier and cheaper than buying a temperature controlling kettle\ hot water tap

I got this Ember mug last year for Christmas but returned it. I just wasn't a fan for the cost .
