I Made a Build For EVERY HUNTER EXOTIC in Destiny 2...

So I made a total of 40 hunter builds in this video. I've got everything in this video from the worst hunter builds imaginable to the best hunter builds in destiny 2. I've combined these with some of the best legendary and exotic weapons in Destiny 2 to create the ultimate build guide for hunters.

I like the creativity of a lot of these builds but it definitely struck me as odd when you stated that the speedloader slacks build was the closest you could get to a 'support hunter build', I think with a few small tweaks to some of these you could make some potent + fun support hunter builds. ( at least 6, maybe even up to 20 depending on you definition of 'support' and 'fun')

@@timcal2136 i guess we're arguing now, Aeon Swift is the first that comes to mind. Each exotic mod is a different sect and each sect applies notable buff in the bottom left of the screen (where buffs show up if you didn't know) that relates to whichever sect has been triggered.

I actually like it because it gives you a strong burst damage to start off with when using something like wish-ender, as you can draw the bow completely while invisible. It also allows you to draw the bow from behind corners and take your time for shots while not having to peak nearly as often. Not to mention it allows you to keep the "perfect draw" on Le Monarque, making it absurd to fight in pvp since you can permanently camp corners with poison arrows always loaded.

Thing is in pve, the blind doesn’t last very long, if you wanna do that sort of thing, you might as well run bombadiers and do some damage while you are at it. Besides though, invis depending on the situation is a stronger blind, with the difference being blind is stronger for each extra teammate you have and invis is stronger for each one you are missing. Also bosses respect invis.

For athyrys I'd actually suggest conditional finality Freeze gives you 50% more melee dmg so if you get the buff and freeze an enemy you can do some funky things like one shots champs in legend or even master lost sectors

Just wanna share some updates to the exotics as of season 23 Celestial Nighthawk -> Grants super energy on weakspot kills FoeTracer -> Weapons corresponding to your subclass gain increased damage to targets affected by abilities Young Ahamkaras Spine-> Nerfed. Grants grenade energy on kills, not damage. Mechaneer's Tricksleeves -> Stronger Buff and can be extended on pistol kills, duration lowered on pvp Shards of Galinor -> Grants Super energy on knife kills Triton Vice-> Grants reload speed and 100% damage when surronded Ophidia Spathe-> Grants stacking damage buff to knife ability and can be refresed on dodge Stompees-> Removed the nerf that made it so you only got the buff when class ability charged

Tbh i don't hate MOST of these builds in fact a couple are ones I already run. However an absolute missed opportunity for Orpheus rigs since if you use deadfall and wishender for near infinite supers (since Orpheus gives you 50% and the rest of your super will be charged on hits and each wishender arrow hits 3 times and tether makes each tethered enemy get hit when 1 is hit) I also recommend trying strand threaded specter with either sixth coyote or bombardiers.

The main time I'm using Lucky Pants with Gunslinger is to pair them with Eriana's Vow and just absolutely chunk a boss from another zip code. Other than that it's Crimson or Malfeasance for me - I haven't tried Hawkmoon with it yet actually but I imagine even with the catalysts for both it and Malf, Malf is just going to pull ahead thanks to ROF and not needing to hit headshots.

I preder Void for Triton Vice. There is this one Void Glaive from Ritual Rewards that has Destabilizing Rounds. Kill an enemy, all enemies around him become volatile, then the Triton Vice explosion procs, which procs Volatile and kills the enemies, making you invisible. It's a refreshing alternative for Gyrfalcons.

Literally any Exotic AR or MG can work with Actium to some degree. Pick your favorite and unload. Peacekeepers biggest benefit gives stat benefits to smgs, so any can work.

God cannot tell you how much i want an ignition build with weighted knife to exist but its just not there. I NEED an exotic for solar that like, increases ignition damage/reduced amount of scorch stacks needed to ignite and when you get an ignition u get restoration cause i wanna solar hunter build that isnt just “use solar weapon to get infinite radiant and restoration” Also pls give hunters a stasis exotic thats good pls i want it.

Threaded Specter doesnt just have a long cooldown, it just straight up doesnt work with the free dodges you get from Radiant Dance Machines, when this season started i went to test that as the first thing i could do once i was able to, and after about 5 mins of killing thrall and dodging after every kill in the opening of Grasp of Avarice the only clone that spawned was the very first one, never from a free dodge from the exotic perk

Its not only the Specter, it's every aspect that has a "on class ability" effect. You can try it with winter's shroud (I think that's what its called) on stasis and it wont work either. It's actually a good thing though because then you could stack slow stacks on guardians in pvp while dancing around them making you nearly unable to hit with anything that isn't a launcher.

for dance machines dodging wont proc aspects at all unless its the first dodge so as for the strand aspect for the decoy it will never spawn on unless its the first dodge you used before procing the exotics buff to give you more dodges any extra dodges will not proc aspects since when these came out people abused the fact that they did proc aspects and used the stasis aspect that slows enemeis around you when you dodge to break the game in pvp and pve

The Luky Pants you need: A Strand Hunter with the Fragment what Sever enemys at shooting at the krit spot a Warlock with this overload rift so secant filaments and you need Malfeasence, and the warlock has a tractor and you need a titan with synteseps how ever they called and one to punch shotgun with the shieldexplosion, with this overshield barricade aspect and this overshield meele damage boost aspect and another warlock with neocrotics and div thats the way how youre glitching a healthbar, same as like retrofit escapade with the godroll one or 2 hunters with this volitile rounds chest exotic in season 19 there you glitching templer. And of course Bubble and Well and one Needle Storm.

Swap out on your mark for gunpowder gamble in the ahamkara spine build Mechaneer’s tricksleeves is a 100% damage buff to sidearms at low health. Reaching low health also autoreloads stowed sidearms. Now anyone with a brain knows that purposely reaching low health for a build is a death sentence but you get access to woven mail on strand. The 60% damage resistance helps a lot for keeping you alive at that low health state without outright healing you. You can also shoot a wave gl at your feet to keep you low, and the woven mail makes it so it won’t kill you. Plus you can run final warning, which already gets a 100% crit bonus on marked targets. When the stars align and all your damage buffs line up; you can get some Ludacris damage with a goddamn sidearm. The enhanced bouncing from athrys embrace is more of a fun novelty in pvp. The real kicker is the 200% bonus melee damage of which you’d be a fool not to use on a juicy knife headshot. To make that easier (read: if you can’t aim), run this setup with divinity for the big crit bubble and the 15% debuff. Divinity also always hits crits so it’s incredibly easy to get the damage buff going after a few seconds. Another thing you can add is scorch, via a grenade or a teammate using a scorching weapon. This is useful because weighted knife will instantly ignite a target so long as they have at least one stack of scorch. Since ignitions scale with what caused it, and weighted knife damage is getting buffed to high hell; you can imagine the big boom you’re gonna get with this combo. For the lucky pants setup, I’d recommend you run malfeasance with catalyst or a Seventh Seraph HC with forth times/reconstruction and vorpal. As both of those do vastly better damage with lucky pants. I myself prefer to run solar with lucky pants, as the radiant buff is nice and the kinetic surges also buff the damage of golden gun, which really rounds off the fantasy of this build. For the speedloader setup, I prefer to run radiant dodge to y’know, also give my allies radiant. And that also frees the exotic slot for me to run whatever weapon i want. Otherwise, the builds in this vid are pretty solid.

TY for the vid, it's a godsend for new Hunters who don't have many Exotic Armor pieces yet. At least I can now make some (even if they are non-meta) builds with the Exotic Armor I do have compared to so many other builds on YT that rely on the rarer Exotics.

Only 56 seconds through and already mistakes are made imo. Should have split it into PvE and PvP builds. Something like Knucklehead Rader isn't meant for PvE, so yeah the "ha ha you'll get kicked from LFGs" is probably true for PvE, but its a PvP exotic so the build should be based around that
