I know this video is years old, but there is no image processing tab or private tab anymore. Where would I find the newest tutorial?

This is very good for CT based images - but what if my whole spinal imaging history is MRI - that seems to be an area that is somewhat neglected?

Dear Dr. Mike, amazing video. May I ask how the Image3d software works? Is it threshold based segmentation or are other methods involved?
@Embodi3D8 жыл бұрын
It uses a combination of operations, of which thresholding is a part. Try it out for yourself. It's a great time-saving alternative to manual segmentation. And it's free.

Hi Mike, Do you know if it's possible to get a CT scan that's already been reformatted into a 3D image by the technician to a printable model? I tried using the "unformatted" scan (the images) into 3D Slicer but it doesn't seem to be working. All of my files on the cd have a suffix of .dll. Not too sure what that the suffixes mean.

Dear Dr. Mike, thanks for an amazing video :) I am new in 3D hence my novice question. in the ct viewer at my hospital I can convert the CT to dicom format. when i select this option it begin saving af lot .dcm files on my local drive. every image i approximate 4mb Question: In order to make af 3D STL-file do i then have to dicom format all 3 dimensions (coronal, sagital, axial) in the CT-scan? or is sufficient to import one dimmension of -dcm files into the 3D slicer? regards samir

Look at the teeth of your model, could reduce the smoothing to loose less details?

How is this service free? I don't mean to be paranoid, but I am just concerned if Embodi3D will share our customer data to marketers, etc.
