With this method always on the same conical surface, is it possible to apply a 3D texture? Like to make a roof with flat tiles? If you help me, registration is guaranteed.😊

Why couldn't you make a parallel top plane at the tip of the cone and use that? Why did it need to be at an angle?

How do I wrap a feature around a cone? So imagine exactly what you did, but instead of text, that path/curve you inserted to place the text, was a groove you wanted to place around the perimeter. I cant for the life of me figure it out. I have a cone, and I need a circular bolted plate on it, and then a groove going around the cone. I've tried projected curve, wrapping, revolving, all sorts of things. Yours is almost what I need but I cant get a solid feature to wrap correctly.

A Revolved-Cut worked for me >> i.imgur.com/Zm9eZBs.png - You may need to turn on 'View-Temporary-Axes' (see image) to get your axis of revolution.

Very cool. I think it'd be more helpful to have a voiceover though
