I too am a diabetic...have been since 1964. Always say when I have a low I have one cookie for the low and one for me ....and one for the low and one for me....and so forth and so forth. Keep a happy face. .

Thank you Gina for making a set that has a Chanukah theme in it. Beautiful card! As for the spelling, most stamp companies spell it with an H, but within in the Jewish community, the spelling is preferred with a Ch because of the phonetic spelling of that sound in Hebrew which sounds like a raspy “Het”. Either way it’s not a big deal, but to be different and more attractive to the Jewish community, the spelling Chanukah, would be a nice surprise. But I’m just greatful that you have a stamp set that celebrates Chanukah and the holiday season. I definitely need to come back out to Greendale and get this set! While I wholeheartedly agree that it would be ·great· to have a stamp set where one could simply •choose• which spelling of חֲנֻכָּה‎ to use on cards, there ·is· no "correct" way to spell it using the English alphabet. These are all transliterations, not "correct" spellings. Per Wikipedia: It is most commonly transliterated to English as Hanukkah or Chanukah. The former spelling (Hanukkah), which is based on using characters of the English alphabet as symbols to re-create the word's correct spelling in Hebrew, is the most common and the preferred choice of Merriam-Webster, Collins English Dictionary, the Oxford Style Manual, and the style guides of The New York Times and The Guardian.

Sorry I missed your live. Your cards are beautiful. I will try this, I have the wreath builder. I didn’t know you are a diabetic. I have been one for the past 31 years on an insulin pump for the past 13 years. Its the best thing I have done for my diabetes. I used to be so out of control until the pump. I have heart issues and diabetic retinopathy from my diabetes. I am now legally blind. Many blessings to you and your family.

I wanted to tell you, I have Lichen plantis also. It took several tongue biopsies to diagnosis it. I cried after every visit to the ENT specialist as my tongue hurt so bad. He would say “this is the numbing mixture I give to little kids” and then punch in the biopsy tool. Then my insurance company required me to see an oral surgeon and he diagnosed it right away just by looking at it. It is not a fun thing to have. If you love spicy food, just cut back on the spices until you find a mixture you can live with. Also, be prepared to have sores in your mouth all the time. I am 78 years old so I don’t have that much longer to live with it. You are much younger. Many blessings and good luck.

I know you did this video over a year ago, and I see you mentioned diabetes. Unless you have type 1 Diabetes, you can reverse type 2 diabetes by eating a ketogenic diet. Insulin is not something we want to trigger all the time as it is the fat storing hormone and and the more often it is triggered, the more inflammation we get. It is even helpful for people with type 1 diabetes, but it doesn't stop one from needing insulin since they don't make any, but it can help to reduce the amount of insulin one has to use. Your cards are just beautiful. I do not celebrate Christmas or any holidays at all, but I do like to see your techniques because like you said these can be used all year round. Your products are high quality.

Is the red a red velvet surface? I have some of the velvet surfaced and they feel so plush! Love it. Chucky tool can be replaced with a table tennis puck. I don’t belong to Facebook so KZbin has to do.

Dear Gina, I just wanted to thank you for your kind spirit. I always come away blessed after viewing one of your videos. You make it look very easy and I am going to retry stamps. I started w stamps in 1983, My goodness i learned so many wrong stamp habits , Had no idea what i was doing! (When. I met my dh Robert,, I happened to have stamps and also ink pad and paper in my purse. He also collected stamps so we married, LOL! He is a retired art teacher, but he is a professional painter and cartoonist, He is on FB . Many years ago a stamp company had him do drawings for a bunch of stamps. www.mrbrunelle.com I on the other hand can not draw but i do love having my own personal artist!) Anyway I am starting all over w stamps,,relearning so i can have some card successes. Our daughter moved back home and i lost my craft room. I now have a bunch of carts in our living room with a couple tables. I would enjoy learning more about reorganizing. I have lots of iris and other carts the drawers are heavy with wood stamps. Should i remove them from the blocks? How can i tell if inks and pads are still good? How long can rubber live? BTW I am diabetic type 2 but had 8 yrs of low numbers prior to learning i had to live same as your way, always wondering if each bite will not be enough or too much carbs! I am sorry you had to live this way all these years. It must have been tough as a kid! I kept having lows but then we found out i was losing oxygen...living with that now.
