You're not the only ones to have got emotionally invested in these boys. This show just really stuck a chord with so many people as it genuinely perfectly encapsulated what life was like for most regular teenage boys during the mid to late 2000s. They were so relatable and you could see yourself and your friends in all 4 of them. Still stands the test of time considering the first series is now 15 years old - genuinely one of the best British sitcoms ever made

It was pretty similar for high school in the late 80's/early 90's too. We had a Jay - his name was Rob (the knob) and would have a story every Monday of how he nailed some Swedish model on the weekend hahaha a total Jay

Drinking games are very typical with rugby lads in particular. The chant "get it down you Zulu warior" has reverberated around many rugby clubs through the nation, egging on lads to neck drinks in one go. God knows where it came from, but we did fight the Zulus a number of times,back in the day. Had a healthy respect for their bravery

So in Britain, you have primary school (reception, year 1-6) and then high school year 7-11, sixth form). Sixth Form lasts for 2 years (ages 16 to 18) and it's like an extra set of qualifications to get you into university called AS Levels in the first year (as can be seen at the end of Inbetweeners Series 2) and A-Levels. Inbetweeners is set throughout sixth form - series 1 is first year of sixth form first day to christmas holidays, series 2 january to the end of the first year, series 3 is set across the entire second year, the first movie is set right after they leave school and the second movie is while they're at university
@eyesofisabelofficial Жыл бұрын
War(w)ick University is here in Coventry. When it was founded in the early 1960's the Bishop at the time suggested naming it after the County town of Warwick, as that fitted in more with the leafy red brick image than the industrial city of Coventry that had actually supplied the land. The then Coventry Polytechnic became Coventry University in 1992 giving us two seats of higher education, so we had the last laugh.
