Muse are well known for being amazing live! A music festival takes place at my old hometown and muse played one year. I didn’t manage to get tickets but I remember walking to college and I could hear muse clear as day in the air, it was incredible. You could hear them for miles and you could make out every lyric, every instrument was crystal clear. Felt like I experienced it without even being at the festival, people stopped on the street to listen!

Hell yeah! Muse are probably the best live band of the last two decades, they always sound just as good as in the studio, often even better. Matt Bellamy has a great musical education and his songwriting is heavily influenced by classical music, this allows him to create much more complex stuff than almost anyone else in rock (or even modern music in general). More Muse please!

This song was the one that inspired me to pick up bass myself many years ago, Absolution was my first Muse album followed by Origin of Symmetry (my friend copied them for me back when that was a thing) and I had been in love with Muse ever since. Exactly. Have seen them live for more than 15 times across Europe and UK, at festivals or small gigs... Never fail to amaze me. Last year on May 9 in the Apollo London, or Berlin Tempelhof in June... They always hated me for exposing them to so much Muse, but after seeing and hearing them live, they finally understood. This summer we go to see them again together live. If I were alive to see Queen live I might be able to make a comparison but Muse is hands down the greatest live band ever. It's not even just about how good they sound, it's also the quality of the crowd. The entire vibe is just ethereal. You leave a Muse show thinking "holy fuck, what just happened?"

It's because it took Muse about 5 years to actually break through, and they actually made it in the US first! But for that 5 years, they constantly played live gigs! So they mastered playing live before getting in the studio. They genuinely are the band that's always better live than in the studio! One of my favorite bands of all time!

Even in their early days, in smaller venues, they were fantastic. Alot of their first album (showbiz) was recorded in the Astoria in 2000. Check out 'Fillip', 'Cave', 'Muscle Museum' & 'Uno' It's also funny to see them all looking so young 😅😅
