Wog (immigrants at that time) humour started in the 80s. The Wogs would call the Aussies “Skips” (kangaroo reference) and the Australian ‘s born to immigrant families would speak with an accent that was part Bogan (another Aussie nickname like a red neck) and part the accent from their country Greek, Italian, Lebanese etc. To see where this humour started watch the comedy sitcom “Acropolis Now”. Of course it’s all over the top, which makes it funny to everyone. Australian culture (as it has evolved through immigration like this) is that we like to hang shit on each other but it’s not done with any malice. It just means you’re one of the group. If people weren’t hanging shit on you then they didn’t like you or rate you. Of course we also have to watch our Ps & Qs now as well in this PC woke world, but the comedians can still get away with it and it’s hilarious.

In the sixties and seventies a lot of people from the UK emigrated to Australia so I don’t know if they took the word there or if it was already there. The accents etc are wog. The skit is about wogs (say working class bogans from the Mediterranean) and they are sending themselves up. It is woggy behaviour, like queer eye for the straight guy (there is a Fat Pizza clip for that)... The reason I stress this, is the title reads "if wogs were police"... not really "Aussie cops" but the scenario has changed and the characters are whatever they evolved into now. It's kinda his own world view (Theo's). The blonde cop is an Aussie Karen, BTW. His wog-mum character is the worst/best.
